Castor Oil is the main ingredient in this serum-Castor oil is full of Omega 6 fatty acids, vitamin E and proteins. It also has antifungal and anti-bacterial properties which help in the growth and strengthening of hair follicles. Castor oil is found to be effective in growing and thickening eyelashes.It is also capable of preventing them from breaking and can also trigger the growth of eyelashes at places where they are not present.

Rosemary oil works too. I've been using a mix of it and olive oil for a month now and they do wonders. My eyebrows and eyelashes are much more thicker than what they used to be

This is very effective even though there's no avocado oil. I used pure aloe vera gel from the plant itself.
I tried castor oil for my lashes 2 years ago but with out aloe vera gel and it worked trust me! Castor oil and olive oil together works so much better ! Like Fr Fr. Oh and Vaseline at night works as good to keep strong

Without the aloe vera gel, it actually works just the same. I can't really aloe vera flakes too easily for me, but it does work. Plus, the mixture lasts longer without it.

*Yes, castor oil works, and so does plain, old Vaseline ...I just happened to be staying with my cousin as she visited her friend, back in the 70's and I remember admiring a her (cousin's friend) eye lashes and complimenting her. They were just very thick and dark and looked lovely with her dark green-hazel eyes.*
*She told me her mother used to apply Vaseline to her and her brother's lashes, every night. Looking back, I don't know what drove the mother to obsessively apply this to her kids lashes, every night, but it obviously worked ... That story stayed with me.*
*I tried it years later and it WAS very noticeably working, but I simply stopped because my eyes were puffy in the mornings. I simply didn't have the time to go around rubbing ice cubes on the eyes, while trying to get ready for work. I begrudgingly gave up doing it!*
Anyway...
*You just have to have the patience to apply (with an old, washed mascara brush) every night, before bed (best time). Only drawback is that you might get puffy eyes (part why it is best to use clean mascara brush instead of small finger - for more precision) and no one will like waking with puffy eyes- especially if you have to leave the house almost every morning, for work, etc...just my take on it*
IrishLass Kelly granted the pictures are totally fake.....the recipe however is not bad. The recipe will not work miracles but it will nourish the skin which leads to healthier hair follicles and thus healthier hair growth.....it will NOT change your genetic hair tendencies (like longe/short hair cycles ... coarse/fine hair...Etc.).
Vaseline can be an occlusive agent and should definitely not go anywhere close to the eyes. I would highly encourage you to do through research and informing yourself before blindly believing someone's random "beauty" routine(Vaseline) and before making accusations at other recipes.

Killer_Diva _101 this recipe will work on eyebrows, yes - keep in mind- more is not more in this case, so, apply just enough to coast the hairs. It will condition the lashes too but I would apply very sparingly and only to the tips where most dryness and damage happens. Important: make sure you do a patch test beforehand. 😊

for babies, put breast milk on your baby's eyelash. just run enough breast milk on the eyelashes when the baby's sleeping. it'll grow longer and curly. my son has long eyelashes. I got the tip from my auntie and my cousin has long eyelashes. ☺☺

I only use castor oil and it takes a few months to see the result . It is not true that the result will show after a few days ,we are talking about months here people so,be patient ...LOL....And last month I mixed the castor oil and olive oil and it works even better ....I also use it to remove my water proof mascara and it's great for skin too !

It takes about 3 months to see the difference ,not a very dramatic change but you can notice that your eyelashes was a bit longer ,it was also great for over pluck eye brows ! lol

When I was about eight I went on RUclips and searched about hair growth and simple remedies (because I wanted to be Rapunzel) I tried everything! Fish oil, olive oil, supplements for kids.... then I found out about castor oil and it worked! I was so happy! I used it for about a month and my hair was already three inches longer. For my hair that’s incredible! My hair doesn’t grow. A few months ago I accidentally shaved my eyebrow off with an eyebrow razor... Worst experience of my life. They grew back. Then I plucked them today and ruined them... I start school in a month so I went looking for a fast remedy. Then I saw this video! So I clicked on it and she talked about castor oil and I remembered the good old days of problem-free eight year old me... So in conclusion, yes, castor oil does work on your scalp! 😁

Way back in the '60, we were using castor oil to grow eye lashes. we also used a little bit of vaseline applied to the mascara brush to clean them of excess , dried mascara. My grandmother, who was a young woman in 1890 in France, learned those secrets from the fashion industry, where she was learning to become a taylor and dressmaker. So, I do believe these easy tips will work if you have the persistency to do it every night. Going to sleep with mascara and make up on is the culprit for short, weaken lashes as well as other facial skin problems. The skin needs to breath through the night !

I wouldn't use ecoconut oil, it clogs pores easily, even on the eyelid you can get little spots called milia when pores become clogged.

Michelle M the thumbnail she has on eyelash extensions and the eyebrows are microbladed. I dont doubt that the serum will work since castor oil, vitamin e, and aloe vera are all great for the body in general, the results just wouldn't be as drastic as this. js.

Vaseline works wonders too!! Not as much as this does, but it works. Take a little with your finger, rub it with two fingers so that it’s smooth, then apply at your lash line. You can do this any time in the day. I do it every morning and every night and I love the change. If you do it in the morning you should definitely use it as mascara! It will look so naturally and your lashes benefit from it too

this is a good recipe that will produce growth. Castor oil is the go to for hair health. Where I'm surprised is that she's not including any essential oils that would further boost the power of the base recipe. Once I added EO's I've been able to grow hair where I had bald spots on top of completely growing out healthy and strong hair. Many blessings
