TRAFFIC CHAOS! - x15 Police Vehicles struggle to respond to calls on Piccadilly as roads GRIDLOCKED!

15 Police vehicles from the Metropolitan Police, British Transport Police and 2 Unmarked cars from Parlimentary & Diplomatic Protection Command all struggle to get through the traffic as roads in London came to a halt due to large ammounts of people in the capital. Unsure what was going on but these all appeared within 5-10 minutes, nearly at the same time.

My home city (Brisbane, Australia) is twice the size in area to Greater London, but with about 1/5th the population. And I thought our freeways and city streets were crowded! Hats off to anybody who drives through this London traffic! Great video.

Emergency vehicles need beefier tyres so they can mount those kerbed pavement areas in the middle without fear of damage. The Sprinter with dual rears did it, being a van with proper height sidewalls, it can.

There's literally nowhere to even go... why don't they take something out of Germany's notebook and leave an emergency corridor just in case there's an emergency vehicle wanting to pass?
And going through a red light isn't an option anyway.

Was nothing to do with the protests and was during the funeral ops for HM Queen Elizabeth II.
Have also never seen police offer any protester a cup of tea, they're normally 'debonding' their hands from the road surface and then carrying them away to a waiting carrier Van to be taken to custody.
