  • The SG 14-236 DD prototype, our largest ever turbine, has produced its first power to the grid!
    With 115-meter-long blades and a rotor diameter of 236 meters, the turbine’s capacity of up to 15 MW with Power Boost allows it to produce 30% more energy than its predecessor. We have already been selected to supply projects totaling nearly 2.8 GW in Denmark and Poland.
    Innovations such as the SG 14-236 DD are critical to tackling climate change and securing energy independence, but they require massive investment in research and development. That’s why we’re calling for auction criteria to take qualitative criteria such as technological innovation and recyclability into account, in addition to the price.

    brilliant short video clip!! it looks so much like the SG 11MW 200DD, but just bigger, better and more eficient, than the one we are currently building in the Netherlands at HKZ, i'm a part of the amazing team building and commisioning the 140 x 11MW turbines, and it makes me proud to be able to contribute to the transition, from fossil, or nuclear powered energy, towards renewable energies such as wind (especially offshore wind). Don't hesitate to reach out, if you want me to take some videos, or pictures at the turbines, or at the commisioning site.
