Great game best Spider-Man game so far . I played 20 hours the first day since I could only sleep for 3 hours😂 it’s the most fun traversal of all superhero games
There's something about traveling around the city thats relaxing. Ive only used fast travel twice and im pass the 3/4s mark. Im going to slow roll it the rest of the way.
I finished the story and have about 50% total completion of the game, I’ve enjoyed it but I have a lot of problems with the post game that I hope can be addressed in later patches
Yeah there’s no New Game Plus, no option where you can change the time of the day and no Peter combat, predator or traversal challenges that you can play post game while Miles only has those Mysterio combat challenges

I had one hard crash and that was more than a quarter of the way through and this weird costume issue where my character turned into a white box. Resetting the console seemed to fix it.
Listen, I understand sequences where you have to play as Peter Parker or Miles and I completely understand that they may slow down the natural pace of the game but I don't freaking understand why people have a problem with playing as peter Parker or Miles. If you want to be Spider-Man wouldn't you want the full experience of it and not just one part. I don't care if it's just for role players I don't want people to keep complaining about this because we won't have moments where we can play as Peter Parker or Miles outside the costume in the third game. I'm tired of a lot of superhero games, making the superhero costume feel like a skin rather than an actual costume or a suit that you actually put on. It reminds me of need for speed or the Tony Hawk games but you're not able to get out of your car or get off your skateboard, I would appreciate it even if it's just a feature or a cosmetic choice or you can be outside of the costume.

I’m enjoying this game a lot so far. I’ve played quite a bit of it and I’m really enjoying the game. MJ is a much better and more likeable character. Miles and Peter are fantastic as always and I can’t wait to get the symbiote suit and fight Kraven because he’s my favourite Spider-Man villain.

I am near finishing the game. it's not perfect in any way, but it being my first spider-man game I am really enjoying it. Speaking of the webwings I'm not the best at them but I don't really like them either( just my opinion).

The main story is great but takes too long to really start going.and many of the side missions are SO woke and boring ( especially the Hailey side mission ). The MJ missions are even worse than in the first game and MJ looks ugly as hell.
I'm about 7hours in and if you told me it was DLC of the last game i would have no problem believing that. I think it's perfectly fine..

The game is fun, emotional, challenging, immersive, and so much more that I can't even type it out rn.
The side quests are some of the best in gaming history too.

I haven't watched the video yet and my opinion on the game overall is, just wait until some sort of game of the year edition for all DLC. Back when the first Spider-Man came out, they were asking for 25 dollars per DLC. Yeah, right. After writing this comment: PlayStation Store has it for 10. Still not worth it. But my main issue what I feel playing it. Some sort of disconnect. I don't know to explain it. It wasn't definitely there in the first one but here, I don't know. I have not finished the game yet.

Insom said in their actual interview from the Spider-man 2 Event that the demo they played was a couple hours into the story.

About the black suit...
For anyone who wants to kno, no spoilers, you get the black suit about halfway into the story.
I'm NOT gonna tell you WHICH name or number mission it is, so that yall are styll surprised.
This is kinda depressing to me how many people are actually happy with this garbage. I feel absolutely misled and mugged by Sony. But if everyone else is "satisfied" with this filth then this is a very frightening omen for the future of video games. Imagine a world where there was no Nintendo because kids just loved the awful ET Atari game.
Same as you with the webwings lol I wasn’t sure about them either but the fact you can open/close them at the press of a button quickly and incorporate them into the web swinging in short 1-2 seconds bursts to make it look even more acrobatic just adds to the fun of web swinging! Probably the best traversal mechanic ever put in a game in my opinion!
Yeah, it took longer to get the black suit then I expected. But given how it let's you tear through the enemies I guess it makes sense it takes a bit. Still have not finished playing but I'm at the 71% complete point and at the point where Peter breaks free of the suit so got a bit ro go myself
I can’t stand the way Peter jumps off the sides of buildings in this game. It was so much better in the first. I also think it’s dumb that you can’t listen to old podcasts, there’s no new game +, there’s no way to replay missions. There’s also no perfect dodge webstrike take down
I bought this day one and i did enjoy one this is definitely a sequal and to me definitely a buy one of the best ps5 releases since god of war. But that is definitely my opinion. I was on the fence i didn't plan on buying then hearing so many people shouting its praises and i saud fune i will buy it and im glad i did. Also the venom suit is definitely half way depending on how you play i tend to do as much side content as possible to level up and unlock this so when i do story missions they are more enjoyable. I would say i just recently got it and i didn't rush and it took me quite a few hours if yoi rush you could possibly get it in less then 5 hrs but it is a story mission unlock.

I'm in the last few missions now and I'm very pleased with the improvements they made over the last game. Boss fights are so much better and the story is way more impactful to me
4:49 so actually near the middle or so with some upgrades you can basically fly forever after some practice, when I use miles I never use webs for traversal and fly around like electro
13 hours gamr play to 100% the game with all 42/42 achievements..
And it has bugs and glitches..

Agreed, I put this weekend towards it and I managed to platinum the game in 24 hours.
Hoping for DLC to be announced, really excited for Wolverine and the supposed Venom spin off.

Because spider-man cant just jump off of the top off a sky scraper and not break his legs. Its a game so i get it would be shitty but in context to spooderman thats how it usually is

100% buy this game, it's a masterpiece..
This game shows just how capable the PS5 is performance wise.
Having finished the main story. I enjoyed myself, dont get me wrong its no masterpiece or even perfect but it is definitely at least a good game. The whole 3rd act felt like a big fanservice dump onto the player and I had a lot of fun with it.

The thing I don't like about it is that you have to have a full focus bar to self heal where in the first game you can heal yourself without filling up a focus bar
I actually like that, makes it more challenging bc before I would just spam the heal button but now I have to be thoughtful with it
Go to settings, put on auto heal below 50% this is such a good way to heal it does it for you plus it ignores that 😂
Skill issue
I had one bug while playing peter turned invisible with a white block on the ground the game is a 10-10 for me and also the game closed on me mid play 😅
After watching Mutahar's video I agree it felt like a tech demo for Spider-Man 3
I like Mutahar but idk if I fully agree with that. I feel like the bigger issue is the faulty discs that have been going around. The game itself offers a lot of content and most of it is pretty engaging. It also fixed a lot of the character problems the original had.

Overall I have loved the hell out of the game though.
I like that stealth is easy but not a necessity. Honestly this game is amazing on so many levels. I'm not too deep but I pray there's alot of villains and marvel easter eggs that led to expanding the universe beyond Spiderman. I know Wolverine is coming, is it connected? My long goal hope is that they keep expanding characters, different parts of the world then eventually space and different planets, dimensions etc... Marvel has a GoW game with Thor, a space thriller with GotG, SS, imagine a Dr. STRANGE game lol... Elden Ring meets Spiderman PS...

I LOVED this game but I actually have quite a few criticisms. There were SO MANY functions that they couldve add that they just didnt and it really annoys me because this game is SO CLOSE to perfection. Also i HATe how the game is unfinished. My game crashed times, i encountered some bugs, and theres no new game plus or any of those features from the previous games.
I personally love this game it’s tons of fun and as a Spider-Man fan it’s freaking fantastic in my opinion.

Doing almost all side activities leading up to it, I played for about 20 hours before getting the Black suit. Worth the wait.
Y’know, I think it’s interesting that the game puts you through a pretty decent MJ mission right before you get the suit. Interesting form of torture. 🤔

I was worried about the flying, too. Gladly it turned out a very handful thing and doesn't destroy swinging. I loved the game, but for me it is an 8.
Ultimately because of some side stories that are so bland and feel too much of a change of pace and well away from the main focus of the game.
I have been part of the unlucky few who has had the game do nothing but crash on them. I’ve barley been able to get past the first mission and that’s with consistent crashes. I’ve done all I can think of to solve this, rebuilding my database, deleting my save and reinstalling, exchanging the disc, restoring my licenses, cleaning my console and even putting the thing upside down and nothing has worked.
Is the game worth it? Get back to me when I can actually play the thing.

Really loved the game hey, I kinda hate myself for getting platinum for it in 3 days haha but will be playing for a long time. Few nit picks with it but man get pretty tilted seeing a decent amount of people complaining about the smallest things trying to say it’s over hyped and not that great. We are so spoilt these days.
If you want to drive "stick shift," so to speak, turn off all "Swing Assists" for the most fun. Swinging is the biggest part of the game
