While that would play to the strengths of the ship, I think the point of the leg mods to to provide a different play style. Cool that they are actually trying to do that, I just don’t think it works with brick
You could get down to 18 seconds of reload before factoring in Adrenaline rush and brawler skills. If you have the close quarters skill and 75% damage taken (-15% reload) you could have 13.5 seconds
In case you are wondering: 40 seconds x0.9 legmod x0.88 reload mod 6th slot x0.7 Arms Race reload buff x0.8 halsey = 17.741 (Optional) x0.9 close quarters brawling x0.85 (though could be higher) adrenaline rush = 13.572

I like the Unique Upgrade personally. My only issue is that you almost never get to use the improved anti-submarine (you're too far) and anti-air aspects (they don't go for you). I feel like it would've been better suited to something that gets closer (Des Moines, Worcester, Gearing).
@@Hunter_17825 It's the opposite. It's specifically because Vermont has such powerful anti-air that carriers don't go for it which is why you don't get to experience the benefits of better continuous anti-air damage.
@@dzello then maybe I'm just straight up unlucky and find unicum CVs, they always get me a drop or 2 even when there are other ships around me. also I still stand on the "AA is trash", the only ships I find to have great AA capabilities are Austin, GL and halland
While I do miss the days of the Monty having the heaviest broadside, it really is freaking funny when a Vermont smashes someone for everything they're worth and taking damage in the next battle they load into. And with a DPM Boost? TASTY!
Hey Flamuu, can I request you break out the St.Vincent and take it for a spin again and see what you think of it now that it's been out for about 2 years? I know you thought it was pretty OP when it was first released, but maybe that's changed? I recently got mine and have been having an absolute blast with it.
The icons above allied ships when they use their consumables, is that a built-in feature or did flamu download some sort of mod? In case it is built-in, can someone tell me where to enable it? Thanks
Full tank build is the slept on build. 33.9 second dcp and 33.9 second repair is just better. Idc about stealth if you just outlast anything shooting you.
Why does Montana have literally the absolute worst legendary mod out of any of these bbs. Well… I guess I can’t say worst but the module that least affects the gunnery performance of the ship. It gets fire and flood reduction with slight rudder shift. Every other battleship has something that directly affects the guns or combat potential of the ship.
It seems WG didn't want any no brainer upgrade for already good Vermont. The buff reminds me my 1st leg mod on Montana (bloody mission for me that time😅) But Colombo was between bad and poor ship so leg mod helped there. Although it received some "buffs" already. Wasn't there nerf of sigma then bring it back?
You're basically trading Conceal for an admitedly nice reload buff, negligible AA buff and a negligible depth charge buff Increase AA mount health by 100% and Increase Depth Charge count by 1 instead of depth charge reload If you're less stealthy, your AA gets shredded by HE more often, rendering the AA benefits largely useless And ASW tends to be done in bursts rather than continuously launching planes, meaning a reload buff is worse than just 1 more charge The main battery reload is nice tho. But you're still just gonna get bullied by planes and subs
@@EllieBanks333 I'm crazy, not it has nothing to do with rudder. I was thinking of the 4th slot For some reason I was imaging a Khaba style build with Stearing Gears 2, even though thats absolutely demented
you need to try the Tromp, it got an absolutly OP buff for its aircraft now you can nuke people from 12Km away so you no longer have to worry about radar
look like straight up buff, 95% of the game you shoot on cd, so your concealment doesn't matter. P.s. OP Vermont become more op. We need to nerf Kremlin again to balance it.
You'd think so, but being spotted all the time can make it really hard to catch broadsides and makes it a lot less survivable. I tried full reload and a balance with the leg mod but couldn't find any setup where I preferred leg mod to having 12.6km concealment.

i feel like a +acurracy -reload leg mod would have been better for the shoot and hide playstyle of the vermont
Its called brick ambushing

That will make the lmod a straight up buff. Not the thing they intended to do.
Honestly thank god the unique upgrade for Vermont ended up as a wonky sidegrade, because i don't want to see Vermont with more buffs.
surely a full reload build could be funny in arms race

Have WG already omitted the idea that legmods should be sidegrades by the way? Looking at the Colombo or the Dutch T10 lm
That's how a legmod should be, so i'm fine with that.
