Finally, a person who isn't a narcissist talking a whole bunch of unrelated BS before even touching the damn part. Straight to the point with no words 👍.
It’s nice to look back and see real workmanship, and how things have changed over the years, now they sell the entire hub, no rebuilding required, and that’s probably why the new hubs don’t last as long as the old hubs, which you could lube yourself the new ones are lube free…!!!
I have mine removed up to the last price you pulled out before having to use the spindle socket but I put the bolts back in mine to back it out and it simply won't come off at all will come out about .5 of an inch then stops
If you never figured it out behind the snap ring is a snap in spring style retainer that looks like a key ring that has been flattened, when you remove it everything comes out and you can get to the nuts
Buddy if you got a Phillips head screw holding that on that means you're missing the actual snap ring and retaining spring that were designed to hold that stuff in and somebody put a screw in it instead
I'm looking to replace the inner wheel seals on the front axle today. Not sure if there are any other seals to worry about but if it's anything like the one in your video, I assume there isn't. Also wondering torque specs of nut after putting back together

I'm not sure I've never taken on of those apart , but the ones I have for a ranger there built differently than a locking system. Check out a Chilton it may have a exploded view of of the the system you have. Hope this helps besure to subscribe to get more helpful tips and tricks.
You actually went a step too far with the lockout hubs, you don’t have to undo the screw, you can leave it as one piece and remove the snap rings. It’ll all come out together
I have no idea ask a local tire shop the may know, my assumption would be no because the bearings are diffrent and the shaft size could be smaller or larger.

Rear 87 ford f250 rear hub removal??? Any videos???
Thanks for watchin
On some Ford and Mazda trucks, the rear hubs may include opening the differential and removing several more snap rings to remove the rear hub.
Does the rotor come off the hub or do you have to buy the entire assembly
You can separate the rotor from the hub, you have to remove the wheel studs from the hub however as they go through the hub and rotor
@@RageUnchained awesome. Thanks
