As long as you give it a moment or two to cool down, you can continue to bring it up to turbo. But if you don't allow it to cool down adequately, it will not last long each time
They make this in a 6500k and a 5000k. Would you know with color looks more "white"? I would think the 6500 would have a bluish tint.

Actually? Double click the main switch for turbo. You don't have to hold the aux switch!
