It has been 2 weeks! Todd has never stop to confirm anyone else's sin or the details thereof. He just let's the camera roll and let's the story roll. But with Lawson, there are kid gloves? Lawson lied and deceived us all! He was a global pastor racking up clout, notoriety, and money through speaking, preaching, and book sales all the while in an affair?!? How can Todd keep quiet about this?!? How can he not point out the sin in the camp! Unless they are all trying to cover their butts and spin this. I am so disappointed in wretched radio, the conference circuit, Masters Seminary...all of the people who are remaining quiet and secretive and using PC terms like "Inappropriate relationship". We can't trust any of them to practice church discipline. And the church that Lawson presided over was the church universal as he occupied pulpits ALL around the world. That is the scale to which church discipline needs to be executed. Maybe we need to think twice before we seek clout and fame as we will be held accountable on that same level. We supported Lawson. Loved Lawson. Bankrolled Lawson. We deserve the truth as brothers and sisters in Christ. Furthermore, what does this cover up teach young Christians and preachers about justice and mercy in the body? That you can sin like this, tear a family apart and a church and thousands around the world apart, but you have a network of cronies and yes men that will cover it all up with platitudes? I asked a coworker Pentecostal what Acts 2:38 says and without skipping a beat he quoted it. I asked him if he knows what Acts 13:48 says and he said no. So I shared it with him and later he asked to visit my church. Well guess where the pastor was teaching from? Acts chapter 13 and at the end cover verse 48 and I asked him later what stood out to him? Acts 13:48 and I said thats how the Holy Spirt confirms. 😇
