Serena est un pur diamant, issu de la mine canadienne, un de plus. Elle brille dèjà au plus haut, je l'adore. Elle est incroyable de talent de présence physique, d'énergie, sa voix est probablement une des plus belles du siècle, elle possède un registre incroyable.
I like them both. I really appreciate that Adam Cohen likes Ireland. Leonard Cohen was certainly very popular in Ireland in my young days there. I wish that Serena Ryder had continued singing in that same vein. She has a powerful voice and an excellent, joyful delivery of this song.
I like Adam's voice but Serena is AMAZING. I wish she would do more songs of this caliber. Since this is Leonard's song and Adam is his son, they're both getting a major boost by doing this song...Leonard is BRILLIANT and many have done his songs and gone on to become famous in doing so.
At the 1:25 mark, hearing Sirens beautiful voice and seeing the American flag sway will alway bring a smile to my face. The emotion I feel is best described as a breath of fresh air.
She is amazing. Adam is pretty good, a totally different performance style to his legendary father - but one must be careful with whom one gets on stage, I always say. Bono made the same mistake when he got on stage with BB King.

I think Adam is incredible. His voice is so very beautiful. I dont think Serena's voice is the right fit. There is something about it that is jarring to me. For me, it's sort of an over-technique that distracts me from the feeling of the song. And too over-powering and her voice is not soothing to me whereas Adam's voice is incredibly soothing. He is so charismatic and so rich and he has that rough strain to his voice. He hits straight through you. For me, not so with Serena who, for me, is more about technique whereas I think Adam transcends technique and grabs the song and you feel it so strongly, right away. And Adam has that same gentle, gracious and genteel quality that his father had for the vocalist women and musicians around him on stage.
Interesting. I have the complete opposite opinion. I think Serena's vlice is so amazing on this one, that's why I prefer it over Julie Felix's version. But, that's a matter of taste.
