This happens waaaaay too often. People fall in love with characters we watch on screen and when they meet them irl I've seen fans "shocked" because the actor isn't similar to the character and then they just start hating the actors. Makes no sense whatsoever.
highly likely a mental illness/disorder that results in or has side effects of obsession. things like this aren't just things that people do for no reason. the video stated that he was very bad at social interaction, covered his windows, and stayed home playing online games. none of those are things are normal and can point to some type of undiagnosed mental issue or personality trait at play. im not excusing him at all, btw, fuck him 10,000%! just possibly explaining why he became so obsessed for seemingly no reason.

I get dontai said recently he doesn't go off on his chat like he did when he first started streaming because he realizes some of his chat are kids but I say screw that, clearly if those are kids then the parents of those kids ain't raising them right since they feel comfortable enough doing this stuff. Like, how tf they get your credit card? It would be funny if Dontai asked chat what age everyone was and because you have to be a certain age, if anyone said under that age got banned from twitch lol. I only know this can happen because another streamer I watch, his mom had an account and would sometime watch the streams and the guy's nephew sometimes used the account to chat and the streamer was trying to make up an age and the kid, not knowing, said his actual age and the streamer's mom's account got banned😭

Showing the backstory of the guy is important. There's no such thing as an "evil" person, and understanding where someone went wrong in life is how you prevent damage in the future. You don't have to feel bad for him, but it is important to understand mental illnesses, abuse and how they can impact a person so that they can be stopped from doing something like this.
