    In the words of the legendary Rupaul, Judge Star has 'charisma, uniqueness and talent' which combined with her realness makes her a Star! I have loved all my divorce court judges.....Judge Mablean (wise/no-nonsense/the OG/I want to be her 🙈❤/my not so secret favourite 🥰), Judge Toler (honest, direct, really wanted to make a difference beyond the show-love, love, love her), Judge Faith (gee whiz....so smart and intelligent , so charming and no disrespect.....so sweet and bloody, damn cute! Love her too and will be looking forward to her next projects). Each and every one of them has been an asset to the show in their own different and unique way. She’s a gem. I like Judge Mablean, the straight shooter, no chaser..Judge Faith was charming but I always felt she lacked a certain experience as she was recently married at the start of her helm. But, Mrs. Star…I am so delightedly surprised and give her great credit for
      owning this helm. I did not know what to expect from Mrs. Star..however she is definitely winning and owning the show. I am loving it…

    Binge drinking is still considered alcoholism. Just because you only get black out drunk 2 times a week doesnt mean you dont have a problem. My ex husband used to go to the bar and come home doing the same stuff. I used to call it his "mean juice". He would insult me while drunk then wake up and say because he didnt remember it didnt happen. absolutely get away because it gets worse before /if it ever gets better.

  • @judgeholder8112
    @judgeholder8112 2 года назад +3

    Jones & Jury (also known as Jones and Jury) is an American nontraditional arbitration-based reality court show presided over by former Brooklyn Prosecutor and District Attorney Star Jones.
    Jones & Jury was the second show of its kind (arbitration-based reality show), behind only The People's Court.
    The series ran in first-run syndication[1] for eight months from September 1994 until May 1995. It was produced by Lighthearted Entertainment.[2]
    The program made Star Jones the first African American to preside over a court show and the first female to preside over arbitration-based reality courtroom programming, only Joseph Wapner preceding her.[2]
    Jones became well known shortly following her stint on Jones & Jury for her 9 seasons on daytime talk show The View, from 1997-98 through 2005-06. On January 10, 2022, it was announced that Jones would return to the court show genre, presiding over longest-running courtroom series Divorce Court beginning with the show's milestone 40th season in fall 2022.[3][4] Jones & Jury was a combination talk/arbitration-based reality court show. Small claims cases from courts in southern California were tried. Audience participation set this show apart from other programs in the genre. Not only did the judge get to question the litigants but so did the audience. After Jones dispensed common sense jury instructions, the audience voted on a verdict. In the end, Jones decided who won or lost in what were legally binding decisions. The cases ran from minor to major issues, such as credit card fraud among family members.[2]

    The alarm bells are ringing so loudly in this case. She is gotta go get a job because he’s holding that over her head. Plus her being in house and tied to the kids prevents her from finding out what he’s really up to.

    He reminds me so much of my daughters father and she reminds me so much of me 12 years ago. Sadly, he succumbed to his alcoholism and ended his own life before she was born.

    Why would she expect that she would be able to change this FWB into a bf, particularly when he only ever shows an interest in her when he is drunk?

      I now realize that she has aspergers - so i get that her ability to read hints is not there. But shouldn't her family be telling her what his behaviour means, instead of simply blaming him for being mean?

    No, you cannot be verbally mean to a person and then try to find a means to justify hurting someone’s feelings.
