The man who took away my leading role from “300” the movie lol! The company wanted me to take a less money than what he was asking for at the time, and had it been an actor? I would’ve jumped all over it. But because it was one of the boys? I refused to do it. Probably stupid of me lol, and here we are today lol. When he tells the tail what Jax Rougeau hook up with his gig, a three Hollywood agents, three of them, they all called for the same part because they needed a true 7 foot giant that was Jacked to the Gil’s 1:12:35 to play the part. These folks already had my car out from my specific body frame. I already carved out we took hours upon hours you would not believe! But again, once I heard it was one of the boys I’d be taking this job from, that’s when I finally let go of it.the boys always look out for the boys.
Given I learned relatively recently in life that "cajun" is a corruption of "Acadian," I love that the story of his "Acadian Giant" nickname being misunderstood for his WWF tryout is a microcosm of how words transfer from one language to another, haha.
He's right about John Tenta being a good man, but with a bad temper. Stevie Ray told a good story about John losing his temper once in WCW. Said it was frightening to see a man that large so enraged. And Stevie Ray ain't little...
John also had legitimate chops as a freestyle wrestler (Canadian Junior Champion/6th in world) and later sumo wrestler (Kototenzan (Heavenly Mountain Harp) with a record of 21-0 before getting fed up with the harsh lifestyle and leaving.
@@jethro1963 The thing is that it wasn't even Arn's fault. He was just doing what he was told to do. It was Bischoff and Sullivan's fault for not informing Tenta of the changes that were being made. Tenta found out on live tv like the rest of us. Another example of bad management by WCW...

Tenta was going to do Arn Anderson some serious damage for killing the push Tenta was supposed to get.
