That was heart-breaking
I got a lot from that. First, don't spend six years of your life on a "maybe some day"! Second, I don't believe that both of them didn't have doubts years ago. Third, if the woman is the breadwinner this is what she becomes -resentful and disdainful. Fourth, kindness is a rare quality. Why would anyone be so hateful to someone they share a bed with is beyond me. They both have issues which is why they tolerated each other for so long and it's easier to blame the other than look at the missing links inside.

She even mentioned multiple times that “SHE is the provider” she obviously has a problem with that and do not respects her partner.

I am gonna have to agree with him on this one.
If they're so unhappy, leave. She wants more, he wants to let her pay. Either one of them could have left at ANY time. But, looks like he'll need a new place to live, so bye.
She kept saying she is the breadwinner at the beginning, which is the problem. She needs to find someone that makes more than her bc she sounds condescending.
