gosh, the way akelia accurately displayed divorce is really touching to me. my parents have been divorced since i was 5 and although they never got back together(unlike akelia+august)the way she handles it with the kids and explains it calmly is great. we NEED more people like her who tackle these topics in good ways that are easy to understand but not censored or displayed like divorce is a horrible thing. it can be needed for sure! thank you, akelia :)

This is actually what happened to my best friend, she gets to go to her fathers house on saturday and sunday and on the weekdays she stays with her mom.
i see that a lot of yall are also experiencing this, its sad really, but atleast they still get to bond with each of their parent, even if it was only a short period of time. :( :)

I had to do the same thing, go to court. Also this is how they got a divorce, my Mums EX husband through our cats down the stairs, ignored the children and heaps more...he wanted FULL custody of my sister,he did not care about my brothers what so ever. I had sadly had to live and learn about that pain when I was 3...im just happy I’m not the only one that has to go through this! I hope you all are safe and have a great day or night!
