The range also depends on how many hills you have to climbe and how much you weigh so if you are 70 kg and you get 30 to 35 miles someone who happens to be 100 kg will probably get around 27 miles up that to 120 kg and maybe 22 miles of range due to the excess heat produced on the vehicle due to the extra work.
Over all this bike is suited for mostly women as they are often lighter than men and light weight men or people who only need to go short distances.
5 grand is a lot of money for a bike that only does such short range, it could have been cheaper to buy an electric high powered bicycle, which would have given you a lot more range and cost a lot less.
High powered bicycles can go over 40 mph must be registered but can cost as little as around 1500 upwards.
However not sure they would be allowed on motorways.
So like you said it depends on what you need it for, if you can avoid motorways then high powered ebike would do better than this, if not then ok.

Some riders put 10mm Car Door Protectors trim around their tank box for improved water sealing.

Interesting video. Thanks. Never heard of a limp home mode when the battery is running low. Understandable but shame it can’t be turned on/off via an app setting.

    • @PavelGarmas
      @PavelGarmas  10 месяцев назад +1

True but there is no App as far as i know and the bike will go into limp mode as soon as you hit 19%

Nice bike Pavel 😁 should we expect upgrades or are you keeping it stock and under warranty for a while 😉 my first thought is cell type and controller. How many amps can the battery safely push? Can i upgrade controller? Is it already pushing maximum for motor? Is motor upgradable? And then after those comes brakes and over sized tires 😁 bigger rotors and wider tires. Idk just my thought process 😉 upgrades 😁 you know the deal 😉🤣 happy belated birthday 😁

      Thank you mate 👍
Will definitely make some changes but will keep them to a minimum to keep the warranty. Replacement battery is 2.5K so quite expensive if warranty would be voided. Wider tires is not an option due to the width of the fork and swing arm unfortunately. I will be selling the bike in year and half anyway.

Hmm, that's quite a limited range, 35miles with decent speeds.
That's why I prefer swappable battery pack systems, more chances to upgrade capacity.

35 miles but i am over 100kg with all the gear on and i do ride fast. I was hoping for at least 50 though...

Especially for its chainless hub-driven and regen brakes aspect?

Genuinely can't understand the partial rear fender, not ideal for keeping clean!
I've got my heart set on a Super Soco TC. Loads of third-party upgrades for it too.

I did like it as well but it is smaller... or at least looks smaller. Vogue was quite nice but has 17 mile usable range.
