Hydrogen. Water is the most abundant resource for that fuel but correct me if I’m wrong. Speaking of hydrogen, I’m not sure if I said this already but others like Toyota, Porsche, Alpine, even Cummins are looking into hydrogen but here’s the thing, not only fuel cell but also for combustion engines too. Curious to hear your thoughts. 👍
@@kingfangs6693 I also hope they implement the changes they were proposing. I especially love the idea of new line 487 which is compromised of the 197 and 289
@@chrispasini5870 It is unfortunate that battery battery buses are being retired after only a few years in service, they seem running great as a passenger experience, what a waste. Can't it at least get the battery replaced and continue to run? I am sure Proterra can resolve the issues if the batteries aren't staying charged.
Are the FlixBus MCI J4500 still around? There is 2 FlixBus MCI J4500 sold to LA Charter Bus Lines and MCI J4500 and Van Hool TDX Double Decker got sold to Tourcoach
Nice ride along! I filmed one myself yesterday, along with Metro’s new BYD K9M

I knew it lol but nice ride along, sometime I'll have to try out Foothill's XHE40!
Maybe when they roll out on other lines, at a later date, such as the 285 to Beach/La Habra or the 286 to Brea Mall
@@alfredoacosta5600 Next line that these will be rolled out is the 486.
@@kingfangs6693 really? I can’t wait for that. Foothill Transit was also planning to extend the 486 to Pomona Transit Center
@@alfredoacosta5600 Yes, it's true. I heard of that too. I hope they implement that route change next year. It would be amazing.

Nice Bus 🚐
Where are the Proterra electric buses? Didn't see them in service lately.
They are being replaced by the XHE40 buses.
The 2000s are being replaced. The batteries weren't staying charged

I don’t think anyone knows this
@@transitfan2000 you got it all wrong. CPTDB Wiki is better than Wikipedia
