Thanks for bringing up dragon quarter. I can see why so many people have such a visceral reaction to that game but to me it’s so underrated. As someone that loved 3 and 4, I was a bit weary at the huge changes but upon a second chance really do love it.
Yes so glad Dragon Quarter made the cut. Massive respect for including the least popular BoF game, yet easily the most original of the bunch. Textbook case of underappreciated gem.

I see a lot of love in the comments for PSIV, To me easily in a Top 10 ever, I am still active in dedicated PS communities. I've seen many streamer playing it for the first time and just falling in love with the game. Probably it is simple, to the point and very enjoyable to play (and it is unique as it tried many unique game ideas) I would put this game high in my list because it is very unique and doesn't rely much on heavy tropes. All characters feel believable, it is neither a harem nor a power fantasy and I love that.
I❤TB! Tonight I will obtain the Saga Final Fantasy Legends(3 classic Gameboy RPGs in one bundle). I hope the games doesn't require the left shoulder button, cause it's broken 😢
Love the list so far. There are games on this list, which didnt get much love after the initial release...or no love at all. Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter is one of those games. I played it ~2010 and loved it. Im sure, it would get more fans, if the game wasnt named "Breath of Fire" or were released at the time of the rogue-like craze.
Watching the last and this episode, made me want to go and replay all the games, except FE Dragon Quarter, I am a hater for that one XD. But the rest! haha my nostalgia cells are intensifying

The creators of Moon Remix RPG Adventure are also working on a new game called Stray Children, which seems to be its spiritual successor

It definitely should have been different title. It probably would be looked back on more fondly if it were.
I thought Star Ocean Divine Force should be higher. Especially if other Star Ocean games are on this list. Still though great list. Love the channel!
