Its actually a hidden skill for dante called "quick drive" to use it you have to hit the enemy once then immediately do drive (back - forwards), but he cant use overdrive and only works for devil sword dante
thats the thing with virgil and dante,they have mostly the same powers and abilities but they use completely diferent virgil has a few other weapons but he prefers to stick with yamato for the most part while dante has a whole armory each game other example is how each one uses summon swords
