Honestly before I had known anything about anything on cars I was test driving this guys two 5 series cars and I fell in love with 28i version and they were both 2013, something about the initial torque that caught my attention that pulls you back. Anyways I ended up getting a 2013 x3 28i and I am more in love with it than ever before cuz I straight piped the res & muffler, sounds amazing just like yours. Also lowered with bc racing coilovers and Continental dw06 plus tires and gunna get some spacers soon and do fbo with a replacement turbo cuz of wastegate sound 😅

I'm looking to do a 335 conversion too, but how come your car is that loud ? On the video it looks like you have a muffler, but you're saying it's straight piped... i'm confused
Before the muffler where the resonator was, I installed an electric cutout so essentially it’s straight piped when the valve is open. When it’s closed exhaust goes all the way through the modified 335i muffler

Drone usually comes from deleting mufflers. Deleting a resonator will make it more raspy
