  • Wheelock is now selling the ELMTS series, where the MT has an Eluxa strobe! I got one and to my knowledge, I am the first enthusiast to have one.

    Hey, HenBasket Fire Alarms, what device was this video recorded with? iPhone? What kind of phone do you have? Do you even have an iPhone?

    This is actually pretty cool. I prefer this than the newer xenon MT.

    Very interesting. It sounds like a wheelock mt, which is kind of strange because it looks more like a speaker strobe.

      That’s because it is an MT

    I thought the “blowing whistle” sound was outdated. Its all about Voice Evac and the “bewp! Bewp! Bewp!” of of the low frequency sounders.

      There’s existing system that need replacement devices, as well as systems that don’t need voice evac or low frequency sounders yet need four wire devices. Chicago comes to mind, at least when Wheelock devices are planned, since they can’t do continuous on Wheelock sync

    Does it have the same speaker as the speakers, chimes, and LF sounders?

    • @HenBasketFireAlarms
      @HenBasketFireAlarms  7 месяцев назад

      No, it uses the regular MT piezo with an adapter cone

      @@HenBasketFireAlarms Interesting. Like the MASS and 792/1st gen Integrities pretty much. Ig that makes sense considering its large grille.

    Does this have the 12/24 volt selection switch?

    • @HenBasketFireAlarms
      @HenBasketFireAlarms  7 месяцев назад

      No, this is 24V only. The remote horn is 12/24V, but I’m not sure how that changes though
