This car is amazing, before I had a BMW 525 TDS big tros .... Once I took 215 kmh with the BMW ..... And with the STONIC I went up to 190 .... I did not insist ... I found it was not bad for a little 3 cyllindre
have one and I'm really surprised by the engine, it's a 3-cylinder 120 horsepower ..... She is nervous goes everywhere. Ok the chassis is sport, very good direction .... I am having fun with this car.
Liked the camera on bonnet view shot and other new cam views. As for the Stonic , I guess its slightly better looking than the Rio in my opinion but doesn't really stand out from the rest of the competition. Might make a good used buy though.
Great review - I like this car. Very practical. Like the Japanese, they've got a long way to go in terms of interior quality (the only thing I dislike about my Honda.) I really don't get this whole SUV thing. They seem to offer little other than a higher driving position and nothing a well designed hatchback can't do, and for a substantial premium, which I for one would rather put towards a better equipped hatch on which most of these things are based.
Hi Nodge X, as always, thanks for watching. I can see what you mean about the whole small SUV/crossover thing, but some of them do make a decent case for themselves. Sadly for Kia, the Stonic's case isn't as convincing as it doesn't really offer a higher driving position, nor does it offer much more space.
Unless you live in a country that has no speed limit on a large portion of its motorways (like Germany) then when are you going to use all that speed? My stonic has a top speed of 190 kph / 118 Mph (more if you want to risk ruining the engine) and I find it is plenty.
Is there a car out there that is not flawed? There is ALWAYS something that is not ideal on any given car, be it a Bentley, or any other car, the human mind will always find SOMETHINGS it's impossible to create a machine that every human on this planet at will adore and love without any displeasure
Hello Alexi, thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment. Yes, you're dead right, everything in life has some form of flows and the same goes with cars. This car is more flawed than some of the others in it class and I think the concept of this car as a whole is a bit flawed, but that is merely my opinion - some will agree, some won't, and I'm fine with that.
im planning to get the 1.4 engine of this. I was thinking of getting a sedan or this crossover that was almost the same price. I was thinking of getting nissan almera/versa or stonic. what do u prefer?
What a biased review. The flawed thing is NOT the car, but you! You ask why someone would buy the Stonic over the Rio?? Take one look!! Obviously the higher ground clearance of 180mm vs the Rio's low 150mm. Other countries have bad road conditions and floods so height is very important. And why are you complaining about the boot space, that is standard size. Do you expect to put a kayak or an elephant inside? Most people just put several luggage or grocery bags anyway. That is all you need. You are getting value for money for the price you paid.
Hi Jerry, thank you so much for watching, and thanks for your feedback. Yes, I can see where you're coming from in regard to the ride height but I still don't think it's worth paying the extra for the Stonic. In regard to boot space, it's not as big a difference between the SEAT Ibiza and the Arona (Ibiza actually has a bigger boot than the Stonic to begin with as well). I never the Stonic is a BAD car, I like it in some areas, I just think it could be better.
Hmm, good question. I'd say no, purely because I find the Fiesta more pleasing to drive, also more fun. However, I suppose it depends on what you want from a car. Thanks for watching Maciej.

Bravo for flagging up the 3 star rating. Lots of reviews don't even mention it. Five stars to you!

Hi Kofi, I'm glad you liked the video, thanks for watching.
Still waiting on delivery of mine, so i'll update you on the drive in this part of the world.
Hopefully the current COVID19 situation won't delay it too much. Thanks for watching 👍🏽.
did you get your stonic already? hows the airconditioning and fuel consumption?

I think it’s a shame there won’t be a fast GT version of the Stonic...
I reckon it'd make for a good car, but I simply don't think there'd be enough demand for it. Thanks for watching Josh.

Why did you not use the seat height adjustmenter ??
What do you mean?
Why the car is moving up and down while driving,is there a fault of design?
What do you mean? That will just be the suspension reacting to the road surface.

I've never driven the Almera or Versa (I don't believe those are currently sold in the UK), so I'm afraid I cannot help there. Thanks for watching.
Kia Stonic or Hyundai Kona? I really can't decide...
Hi Bogdan, thanks for watching. I don't think you can go wrong with either as they are very similar.
@@CarObsession Thanks!
Correction: stonic means, stylish and iconic. Damn review
How can it be a correction when it's not wrong? 🤷♂️
@@CarObsession ask kia then meaning and we good
@@bassdaily4596 I don't need to pal. Look up Kia Stonic meaning on Google and you'll see I'm right.
It say style is iconic.
@@bassdaily4596 No it doesn't...

better than fiesta active?
