Great review. I've been looking for a versatile, everyday watch like this one for a while. I thought about the Aqua Terra, but I can't justify the cost. This seems like a very viable alternative.
Same here- I owned an AT when they were cheaper (2006ish) and sold it for about £500 so they idea of paying nearly £5000 for one now would hurt too much! But this looks great and amazing value too
That is exactly what it came down to for me. I love the look of the AT but couldn't justify spending nearly £5k on a watch. Then I saw this and loved it and when I saw the Green version, I bought it. Should have it within a month. Reviews like this make me confident that it will be as good as it looks,
Like the review as I am seriously thinking of getting this watch soon. However I never understand why reviewers don’t show the watch on the wrist. Why have a watch on that we are not interested in and not show the one that we are. Otherwise great video.
I will try to start adding that view in the future. For me, many times the watches always translate as much larger in wrist shots. It think it has something to do with camera distortion, and even smaller watches tend to look larger on camera. So, to me a wrist shot isn’t always the best way to really see the way it will actually appear in person. I’ll see if I can find a way to accurately display it.
Oh, my Omega is a 90’s era Speedmaster. Different watch for sure. I love the Aqua Terra, but probably can’t afford it.. that’s why I wanted this watch!
The indices are a combination of hi polish and brushed, so there is a lot of light play. They appear dark at times just due to reflection of color in the environment.
I love CW but...The Sealander is 3 watches. 48% Rolex Explorer 48% Omega Aqua Terra 4% CW Sorry CW, but that's what I see when I look at this watch. I love CW but they could have done better with this watch. CW could/should have made it look more original. They should have made it look more CW.

@@rejoiceinthetruth Just saying you're right! Thanks and fixed. Not a bad looking watch at all. It's great looking but too safe of a design. Nothing about it stands out. Not enough CW DNA.
Great review. Got one a couple of days ago.... Really impressed. The micro adjustment on bracelet is great.
It’s a fantastic watch! Enjoy, and thanks for subscribing!

I personally agree 100%! It’s a lot of watch for the money, and it’s extremely versatile

Oh, and thanks for watching! You’ll love the watch! I like it so much I just got the GMT version as well!
@@imtoddv thanks for the reply and I understand your point. Definitely getting this watch!
I ordered it yesterday 😀
You’re gonna love it!
Great review, try to lower the volume of the music a little bit tho
Is this watch still in your rotation now that a year has passed?
Well… kind of.. I swapped it for the GMT version. And that’s going to be a keeper for life, I think.
This one has been my go-to recently, even over the aquaterra.
Amazing watch, right?!
@@imtoddv The Trident Pro is amazing too. I really like what CW is doing these days.
@@ncavis fact! Love that one as well!
How is the finishing comparative to your omega? I love CW but my omega will never be trumped (at least I don’t think so 😂)

Are the hands and indices silver or tinted dark? Looking at this vs Formex Essence 39 White, which definitely has dark hands/indices.

If they only got rid of that hideous logo.
They just did !!
@@checkmate9111 Yep, been eyeing them for a while since they changed. The logo is great now!

Sure. I cam see your point. However what you described may in fact be what it is I really like about this watch. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I honestly think the Sealander is a better looking watch than either the Rolex or the Omega.
And for the record, 48+48+2=98. Just saying.
