Your talking about my favorite band. I first heard them in late 97’; The Grand Hour, but, then I heard Bee Thousand. To me, it w sounded like The Beatles mixed with Flaming Lips. It sounded corny good because it grew on me. It reminded me of being at a carnival. I was hooked.

A hefty chunk of these songs were re-sequenced as the new compilation Scalping the Guru. While it's missing an alternate (imo superior) version of Dusted from FJSC, it rivals King Shit and the Golden Boys in showing off their lofi methodology and quirkier songwriting.
