To copy a channel into a layer in Photoshop on Windows, follow these steps: Open your image: Make sure the image you want to work with is open. View the Channels Panel: If the Channels panel is not visible, go to Window > Channels to bring it up. Select the desired channel: In the Channels panel, click on the channel you want to copy (e.g., Red, Green, Blue, or an Alpha channel). This will display the selected channel in grayscale. Copy the channel: Press Ctrl + A to select the entire channel. Press Ctrl + C to copy the channel. Go to the Layers Panel: Switch to the Layers panel by clicking on the tab or going to Window > Layers. Create a new layer: Click the New Layer button at the bottom of the Layers panel (or press Shift + Ctrl + N) to create a new empty layer. Paste the channel: With the new layer selected, press Ctrl + V to paste the channel into the new layer. Convert to normal layer view: If needed, go back to the Channels panel and click the RGB channel to return to the full-color view of your image. Now the channel you copied is pasted as an image in the new layer, and you can further edit it as needed. From ChatGPT

People who wants to do something in photoshop but dont know how to turn into the chanels mode, ok. If you want to do some advanced changes and tecniches in photoshop before you should try a basic tutorial. This one is easy to follow and the results are really good.
Not a very helpful comment. Many of us can do plenty of things in Photoshop and don't need basic tutorials just because we don't know how to use one tool (especially when the poster didn't explain how to do it). There are near-experts in PS who don't know every single thing.
@@katizig of course, Its imposible to know everything about Photoshop, thats true. But changing the Mode is not a hide or strange tool, the tutorial is cool and work pretty well even if it no explain how ti put chanels mode.

Not a very good tutorial. You speak way too fast for beginners and do things the hard way.
