@@scottishadonis True! But the mechanics of the game are muddled. If one had the phasers turned up to 100%, then the pulse weapon systems won't fire much, if at all. The modern day Defiants (weird to say it like that, huh? Lol! 😂) have both the forward beam emitters and the pulse phasers ran thru the same line of code, freeing up the forward Quantum Torpedoes for what we call an "Alpha Strike". The more power that's ran thru the phasers, the less power is available to fire the other pulse projectile weapon(s). Hope that helps - sorry if it was too wordy.
