Agreed. Ive played with D1 players and it's intense. I've spoken with those players who have played with NBA players and they said it's Men vs boys😂.
I know every one of those dudes. They all are legit all state/ d1/pro guys. Tristans team actually didn’t do bad at all. They we’re just not as good. Like he said at 3:15, that’s what they were supposed to do

On defense, even if you back up just a little off the ball handler. He’ll get comfortable, even be in his comfort zone with his body/shooting motion as he’s given time because he’s not being guarded. A little something I learned, never let the ball handler/shooter be comfortable because you gave him space/time. A little bit more defense could’ve won you this game is how I see it
My thoughts exactly, so many uncontested shots that costed them the game imo
If u will be very close to good ball handler, he will pass u fast
They were also spreading the floor a lot more which was the reason they were getting a lot of uncontested shots
Much easier said than done. I saw the same core guys playing the whole game. If they went 9-10 high-calibur players deep, then maybe. I think they only have 5-6 guys ready to compete on this level. Sergio got no burn this game.
Energy must be conserved otherwise shooting will suffer drastically.
@@sike3180 no that's only if your feet are planted. easier said than done, but still true; moving your feet while on defense is imperative if u intend to stay with them and annoy the offense

That team stopped trying after they were up by 20 until the ending when Tjass squad came back! If that team tried the whole game Tjass squad literally had no chance! A bunch of D1 hoopers who actually play in a rec game that passes around the Rock and who can all smack threes is impossible to beat. That’s why his teammate said they have a super team.

A great example of the "Brian Scalabrine" effect. This was the best rec-league team I've seen you assemble in a while (maybe ever?) and these D1 / G-League guys were on a whole other level (and I am betting not playing 100% of their abilities)

Good job hanging in there, you did great on offense. I think your defense would improve as your teams did, it was mostly non-existent for both squads. Honestly you all seem to lose just because more of their shots dropped.
Yeah when it comes to 5 on 5 all your teammates must play to their full potential, otherwise it can easily affect the outcome, win or loose for your team.

That makes no sense at all you are more acceptable to getting injured on offense then you are on defense and actually if you play great defense it turns into easy offense

These are mostly washed up low level pros and D1 guys who were walking for half of the video. When the shorter guy pressed up on Tjass a few times he couldn’t go anywhere, and that guy is not at least in his current shape with that effort level an overseas caliber player. Outside of making open shots when guys aren’t guarding him which he did very well in this video, what makes you think TJass could be a good overseas pro? I love his videos and he’s a great player in general but I think the comments and his fans tend to severely underrate what it means to be a pro. If he could be a pro, he would be.

What a high Level match! Really cool to see! Who is Nr.13 and 25 on your Team? 13 looks like a pro, 25 also an amazing Athlete that finishes strong despite being a bit undersized. The other Team was tough though, you could see everyone of their squad knew how to play. I Think Serge actually was hurt and did not play for that reason, in this high level games/ Semi pro league he played i have seen him a few Times playing actually quite good, sticking to strictly role player tasks such as strong picks, rebounds and dives to the basket, so i think he would have helped them.
