I've watched several of your videos on the X350 having recently picked up a used one. I worked through a couple of small problems, simple fixes. Your videos were very helpful and are well done. Headache over. Continue mowing.
I have this same mower and my only regret is that there is no locking differential. When I add the snowblower with weights and chains my rear tire still spin on small inclines. Keep that in mind if you new buyers are looking to do more than cut grass.
Brent, I feel that the cruise control not being able to keep the machine at full speed is very typical of John Deere Products. I have had several over the years and they all are not able to attain full speed with the CC on. This is the reason I don't use it. I think it is just in the design of how the lever catches. Thanks for another great video!
When the same mower is available with a 42 or 48 inch deck, another question people often have is which one should I get? Is there a significant difference in mowing time for 1 acre? So a good comparison would be to mow that acre again with the X350 and a 42 inch deck and compare the times.
On the x300 series the 42” deck is much lower quality than the AccelDeep 48”, totally worth it to make the jump up just for quality alone. Thicker gauge steel, better airflow, the anti scalping wheels are a much better setup. In theory it’ll shave ~10-12% off the time but really the jump in quality is the biggest benefit.
@luisvisalden7264 same here. I have a couple spots on my little over an acre that the bigger deck wouldn't fit between. For instance between a tree and the neighbors fence.
Love my 2017 X350 Use to maintain hay field borders, trails, lawn, clear tall weeds and brush. 580 hours. Transmission spyder gears failed at 570 hours. $980 plus my labor. No oil drain ir filter on this model. I'll now remove the trans about every 100 hours or in the fall to turn upside down to change the oil. See how long this one lasts. Also the rear deck hanger hardware wear out. Love it though. Thinking of a 1025R
I have a older model lx277 that has the k62 transmission. It is servicable. I have 1700 hours on this machine the deck is starting to rust out but everything else is fine. My neighbors x300 the transaxle is starting to make noises at 750 hours. Im honestly debating getting a new deck for my ole reliable instead of getting a newer mower
I have the same issue on my X758. Pedal all the way down, full throttle, cruise control on, and it goes slower than just holding the pedal. The linkage for the CC also rattles/vibrates and gets annoying.
You started the tractor, then engaged the PTO at reduced throttle. My X500 owners manual says to start, engage PTO, and mow at full throttle. Is the x300 series so different?
Also, do you plan on trying a 4 wheel steer style tractor? I'd be interested in seeing if it helps on time. Especially in the X7 series because mine turns really sharp as is, and it's only 2 wheel steer.
Cute the cats want to be in the video again, even though the tractor style mower is slower that zero trun they are more of a all year round mower than a zero turn especially in the north
When I saw the cat I was like I swear if he turns out more on and chops that cat into sushi I will never forgive him The kitty was so tiny and lovely I want to take it home and give it all my love and attention even though I have a dog already
I was waiting for this as we bought an X350 48" for our church school!

Well thanks for watching and I am glad I could help!

This guy does great reviews. He's a great presenter.

I am also interested in a 4-wheel steer mowing video with the X584 with a 54” deck. Excellent videos!

if your car manual told you to floor the gas pedal every time you release the clutch, would you do it?

I have a 2021 x350 and absolutely love it but also hate the speed. It feels extremely slow. If there is a way to speed it up it would be even better.
Love the kitten

Much slower compared to my husqvarna .
Comparable model and deck size? What kind of time did you get for an acre?
I saw this dude at burning man totally faded trying to light his nipples on fire...if not he has a twin
Maybe you had been hitting the 'peace pipe' yourself----and you were dreaming about him
