    I opened up to someone today about cutting people off and they tried to convince me that I was wrong and unforgiving. I think it's wise to stay away from people who hate you and continually try their best to hurt you. It's draining being around people who do not build me up. I feel at peace when I am not around them.

      That's a topic where you have to be ready to explain that cutting people off does not equate to unforgiveness. Even if you explain it well like Dr. Monroe did, some people are spiritually blind and will always misinterpret scripture. You just can't throw pearls to pigs. That's another lesson in itself.

    • @confiance1492
      @confiance1492 Месяц назад

      The lord says if someone asks forgivness and repents and change his way you must forgive. But if someone doesnt, of course

    • @judonnecole7035
      @judonnecole7035 Месяц назад +2

      @confiance1492 No, that's not what the Lord said. You are required to forgive regardless of whether or not they repented. Whether they repented ( truly repented ) should determine whether you leave yourself vulnerable to another sin committed against you. Even this is situational. For instance, if the person is your spouse, I believe you have an obligation to practice a degree of patience for the sake of the covenant. However, being married DOES NOT mean you are to be someone's doormat or punching bag until death do you part!! Contrary to false religious doctrine, God WILL tell you when it's okay to leave a marriage. Some people stay in abusive ( whether physical or verbal ) relationships because they think God will get upset with them, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

    We are told to forgive 70 ×7 which means not to keep count, but it never said that you must give them access to your life again. Forgive, not holding malice; but you move on. There are mistakes, and there are patterns....... you walk away from the patterns....... Discernment will expose which one it is.

    • @pappyslingluff9104
      @pappyslingluff9104 23 дня назад

      Um sorry but 70 times seven means to count, Daniel 9:27 seventy sevens are determined upon your (Gods) people

    • @hartwellalleyne2961
      @hartwellalleyne2961 23 дня назад

      @pappyslingluff9104 , the point of it was not to keep count or allow negative feelings or energy to fester inside of you. Science has proven this fact by pointing out that negative feelings, anger etc cause toxic chemicals to be released in the human body. It said forgive but it never said you have to continue to walk life's journey with them. That's where discernment comes in......

The people that foolishly give second chances are the ones who lack discernment or allowed their emotions to negate their discernment. God WILL show you who to grant a second chance to. Even if you give the second chance, you MUST forgive. Be blessed!

    The Bible doesn't sa y to cut off ANY relationship when you recognize manipulation. Hebreww 13:16 says to communicate forget not for God is Pleased.....How can you honor marriage and Gid co.mand to honor if you cut off 😢people you have spiritual responsibilities to operate in your life. I Believe one should get the victory of being controlled and manipulated by others. I believe they put a hit on this minister and his wife, perhaps the wrong people were in his inner 🔵

    • @judonnecole7035
      @judonnecole7035 Месяц назад +2

      No, not any relationship. One must use discernment and not emotions to decide on who they will allow in their life. You can't force your will on anyone. Some people are under so much demonic influence and oppression ( bipolar people, for example ) that you can not reason with them. The only thing you can control is how much you put up with the person. I'm not talking about running at the first sign of trouble. I'm not talking about being intolerant of a person's character flaw. Forgiveness doesn't equate to being a person's doormat. I'm talking about using your wisdom and discernment. People have died behind choosing their weak emotions and/ or misinterpretation of scripture to justify their foolish decisions. Even if God gave them several signs to end the relationship. Also, sometimes it's only meant for a person to be in your life for a season ( not a permanent fixture). For example, God may have a message for you to give them ( like the gospel ), but you made them a friend and/or spouse even though you guys were clearly unequally yoked! Point is, being Godly does not mean that you don't use your God given wisdom and/or common since. Scripture will never justify stupidity.

    • @kellyannr4171

      The circumstances point to deliberate tampering. It is the modus operandi of those who wish to eliminate perceived threats. Plane crash, heart attacks, car crashes, helicopter crashes, supposed over doses, etc. His teaching went in opposition to most ministers. It empowered and liberated , to live as God expects HIS people to live.

    • @hartwellalleyne2961
      @hartwellalleyne2961 28 дней назад +1

      A verbally or physically abusive relationship does not have God's stamp of approval. A spouse who repeatedly exposes their partner to potential sexually transmitted diseases is not approved by God. The Creator does NOT expect you to stay in this environment which hinders your walk with HIM.

      That's not the message here. The message is discerning that forgiveness doesn't equate with stupidity. Some people deserve a second chance if they genuinely repented. It's about taking heed to the signs and not allowing yourself to be constantly victimized. God requires us to show mercy and forgiveness. Sometimes people make mistakes or bad decisions at your expense. It doesn't necessarily mean you should cut them off! It does mean that you should be on guard and if possible, not allow yourself to be vulnerable. Sometimes it does mean to cut them off! It's situational. Being quick to cut someone off often is a defense mechanism and cop out. It's easier than working towards a healthy relationship.

    • @judonnecole7035
      @judonnecole7035 Месяц назад

      @@elizabethholmes4933 Bad example. Adam and Eve's sin brought forth the destruction of mankind by giving Satan an inroad. Man's second chance came through Christ's finished work. Therefore Adam and Eve did get a second chance. They just didn't live to see it. There are consequences for sin. When we suffer consequences for our sin, it's not God that punishes us. The sin you committ gives Satan an inroad into our lives to do what he does.
