USING YOUR HELLO DISC™:
Your Hello Disc™ is designed to be worn four ways. In all cases, fold your Hello Disc™ longways. The tab end should be the last part of the disc to enter your body. Once you feel you can insert the disc no further, use your finger to push the rim up to tuck the disc behind the pubic bone. Don’t be afraid to push up higher, this is what positions the disc correctly and holds it in place.
Four Ways to Wear:
Hello Disc™ features four unique ways to wear our double loop tab - you get to decide what fits and feels best for you. Check out our video to find out more.

I'm a guy, but... I think this is amazing, it makes me happy that women are getting more options here, especially ones which aren't so expensive.
this is expensive.
@@boawtn693buying disposable products monthly is more expensive
@@boawtn693 not compared to the cumulative expense of disposable products.
@boawtn693 I rather spend $60 bucks on this that can be used for years than having to buy disposable pads for $80 every single year
About to finish my first cycle using mine, it’s a game changer. Takes a little time to get used to inserting it and feeling it in your body. But I have a pretty active job and in 12 hours wearing it did not leak. I was amazed yesterday at how much blood it held back!
6 month update; still have it and love it. its great even for the days when i'm just spotting. one less thing i have to worry about, plus my partner and i can go to town even on my period now hehe
I’m excited to get mine this month! It says my package will arrive two days before my cycle starts. Yay!! Never been so excited for my period 😂
Tell us how it went and you’re experience. Pros and cons, difficulty and ease. Thank you
@@lotusbeekey9684 will do !!
@@shelbelee so how was it
@@RealAnosVoldigoad I need to give it one more cycle because there was a bit of a learning curve. If I review it without additional time to make sure I’m using properly then I feel I wouldn’t be giving proper advice. But as first impressions only using it one cycle… it was …ok. Very comfortable but the tabs seem kind of gimicky and definitely aren’t a mess free experience. It doesn’t wear like the disposable disks to (which is what I used before). Imo it feels like a cup meets a disk rather than just a disk. I have many leaks trying to figure it out. But I will keep you posted. I’m thinking of making a video review after this next cycle
😂😂😂
Buy this it is amazing. Already used it for my llast period and it was a breeze
This is my first time using a menstrual cup/disc. I finally got my period and I’m testing out the hello disc. I felt there wasn’t much video instructions on how to use it but I think I figured it out? I let the tab dropped but not sure if the cup is too low because the tabs are hanging out like a tampon string. It was a little uncomfortable so I tucked the tabs in. Hopefully this works!
yea same about the tab sticking out like a tampon string, the video makes it look like its supposed to be way deep inside … its been a few hours and no spills yet but i think im gonna insert next time with the tab tucked
Any tips for making sure its tucked behind the cervix?
I use the nixit disc and it’s amazing I tried cups and they’re ok but my body is sensitive to the suction.
I wish they made the flex discs like that to make it easier to remove.
Using it all day today for the first time and just can’t get it to work. I’m 45, never pregnant, and is it just me or this thing is huge? It won’t open or go as high as i thought. Really hard to grab the tab. My cervix is low and I’m still just struggling. Also, extremely messy. Not giving up yet but def not easy for first time users.
Due to the two pop up links added overtop of the video you cant see what the last example is, this makes it hard to fully understand. Maybe wait a little and add a little bit at the end for them so information isn't being covered
Is trimmed also good for playtime?
I’m using a brand called Nixit and i feel the need to have a tab. I think i will try this one. Hows the diameter size of this one? Looks amazing tbh!
I don't know if you found out the answer yet but I got mine this week and the diameter is 6,7 cm or 2,6 inches.
It doesn't ship to Canada 😥?
It doesn’t because discs are considered a “medical device” and this would need a certification from Health Canada. Apparently it is an expensive and lengthy process. hello hasn’t gone through it so it doesn’t ship here. There is also the risk that the package gets seized at the border if you send it to an american friend and have them send it to you. If you’re lucky, the best is to have someone drive it across the border…!
two questions
1. how do you know if it’s behind the cervix
2. if you take it out after 12 hours and clean it, can you safely put it back in for another 12 hours?
i can attest question 2: yes you can!
@@janakoenig3135 tysm!!!
I can never get it past my pelvic bone
Don’t insert upwards like tampons. Insert downwards towards the your tailbone. Also experiment by rotating and relax. Try to do it standing on top of toilet. These tips were a game changer for me.
Than once is past pelvic bone just tuck in upwards. :)
Okay...here I go...wish me luck
Can I practice using this even if I don't have my period yet? First time user here. No experience with cups either.
Practice it with lube
You absolutely can .. I tried several cups and discs before my cycle to see what was best And please use a water based lube for easy insertion... your vagina will thank you
I know this is old, but I wanted to answer incase someone else with the same question comes across this comment since it looks like the replies were deleted. Yes, you can practice with discs (and cups) before your period. I would suggest using a water based lube to help with insertion. Just make sure you don't leave it in for longer than 12 hours without taking it out and cleaning it.
If u search Period Nirvana Hello disc she goes thru the examples. She also goes thru how to insert, different ways of inserting disc using a sample that she had made. ruclips.net/video/dZnBaYAqOqo/видео.html
@@user-qj8li6qt3p thank you, I've gotten the hang of it.
Its so awkward to remove
