I cannot believe this worked. I was just about to call a tow truck when I came across this video. I was sure it was the clutch safety switch. I'm so thankful to you and your video!!
This worked perfectly for me! Thank you so much! So should I still take the Jeep in to get looked at? Or has pulling the fuse and reinstalling it fixed it?
I'd imagine it could but I think there might be other possible culprits as well. Unfortunately I'm not much of an expert, but suggest you do some more research and diagnosis.
I have same problem for long time. Sometime it start on first turn but most of time it just turn on power and need to try start 3-8 times before it starts. Some time will nit start so using remote start it starts some time. No published remedy helps.
As a JKU owner .... Get the 4runner ! Jeeps are fun but not worth the price and shitty build quality. I'm having the same no start issue. The dealer is clueless ( not surprised ). I'm real close to trading it in on a f250
Thanks for the advice! Had this 2012 sport for 9 months and it just started today after an oil change. Wondering what the root cause is, if anyone has any insight. They checked my battery and it’s still in the green. And they had me turn the ignition 2 clicks and then press the gas all the way down and up 3 times to reset the oil change light. That’s when this started and it’s been twice in the same day. First time nothing work and then the oil change guy said to try pushing gas 5 times. Don’t know if I got lucky or if this worked.

That's crazy! I've never had that happen. I have a 2007 JK.
Thanks for sharing this because now I'll know something to try if the Jeep won't start.
Thanks for the tip, I had something similar happen when my wife was trying to go to work but it cleared on its own.

Will a bad ecm cause a crank no start ,no spark and no feul. And no check engine light.

Good to know thanks for sharing.
Mine comes on intermittently while driving. What’s that mean?
Sounds like it's time for a JLU! Lol jk that Jeeps got many adventures to go. Glad you got it sorted.
Haha I wish, the JK is perfect for what I do and as things start breaking it makes it that much easier to justify upgrades.
Ya fair enough 😁
Lol I have this exact same issue right now and I’ve tried pulling on the starter and pulling the fuse and nothing.
Worked like a charm
