    "China will be the third country building a space station". Really? I mean which single country built the International Space Station? I'm assuming he was referring to Mir (Russia) and Skylab (USA) as single countries building their own space stations, but if it wasn't for a dozen countries banding together for the ISS, who knows how many of those would INSTEAD have put up single, smaller stations. Which in a way they did, just adding them to the ISS.

    • @tapist3482
      @tapist3482 4 года назад +1

      If you do a little more research you'll notice that the US and Soviet/Russia contributed the most, if not all, of the major sections on ISS. The other countries simply don't even have capable rocket to lift up a big enough craft into orbit.

    • @LordArioh
      @LordArioh 5 лет назад

      well, then you must have an emergency rocket prepared and checked every now and then on hold 24/7. Otherwise the launch will take weeks and all the crew will be dead by the time of arrival. Tho they might have an emergency space craft on board, so they can just abandon the station and descent back to Earth.
