Building on the success of the popular ESP-LXM commercial controller, Rain Bird is pleased to introduce the ESP-LXD controller. The ESP-LXD controller has been designed to maintain the look, feel and ease of programming of the ESP-LXM controller but with an interface to a two-wire path for decoder-based irrigation.
The Rain Bird ESP-LXD controller can manage up to 50 stations but can easily be expanded for use with up to 200 stations. Flow Management is also built in to every ESP-LXD controller.

The powered button/led blinks red and green and the system is not starting.
Can you please give me some advice.
We are using an - ESP xld m50 controller.
The led blinks red and green and the system is not working.
We changed with another controller its working. But when we are using/fixed this controller its blinking the red and green colour in the led.
Is there any process of checking to resolve this issue.

"Short Finding Mode" is stop output voltage to the 2-wire, so cannot use this mode for short location find out with clamp meter?

I have a quick question. Is the module supposed to be making a sound? Sometimes when I turn on a zone it makes a beeping noise but sometimes it doesn’t. I have also been having trouble with some zones sometimes coming on and sometimes they won’t come on. So I’m not sure if it could be the module

What if the controller has power but the module still has both lights off?

The lower LED light on the module lites green and red . What does it means? Also says station 35 open circuit or line open

Is that a cut wire or short. Now where? How to find it. That's a head ache when you didn't install it. I don't even know which direction it goes to start. I know I need a wire locator. It can take forever. Over 60 stations
