Very refreshing watching this, Beresford gets the ball from first kick off and passes forward and runs beyond Ginola and into attacking mid position 87 mins he is making a run into similar position We would never see anything like that now...yeah we had a much better team then than we do now but it's about attitude of manager and willingness to let players have a bit of freedom and trust in them Team is so fluid...Shearer on the wings all game, dribbling putting crosses in and Ferdinand in the middle

Me & few mates went into NY for the day to find a bar & fell upon this little Irish bar & when we went in the girl said $5 & you get big screen with waitress service 😀 🍺 bingo!. We sat down & the first goal went in & we jumped up & celebrated. In the room at the back we’re a few Man U fans & Chelsea fans as they were probably working in NY I guess . This was peak football for me. Very few stoppages, no diving, referee’s decision was final, no ridiculous 10 mins stoppage time, great commitment from the players, awesome atmosphere and overall fantastic entertainment. What happened to our beautiful game?

We should have used this 4-3-3 shape more often. Beardsley deeper, Shearer right a bit, Ginola free role on the left. It made us a bit harder to play against.
