Can someone tell me -The difference between being matched at one hospital and not another? eg, difference between Mayo Clinic and University of Florida... - Is it possible to apply for more than one speciality?
1. med students have a variety of aspects to consider, it could be location, the program, demographics, etc. and that can make all the difference when getting matched to a program. 2. i believe you can if you specialized in two specialties in med school; for example, some people do med-peds, which is internal medicine and pediatrics...only thing is, you have to take two boards

How are they slected ? They can choose ir is completly random ?
The students rank where they would like to go, then the hospitals also rank the students as well, then an algorithm makes the decision.
