Work is a challenge! Work is Overcoming! You have already seen how we insulated the frame house in the Absheron region in the village of Mezmay. On the recommendation of this customer, another resident of this remote resort village decided to warm the house in the mountains.
House of aerated concrete. Built on stilts. Due to the remoteness and the difficult road to Mezmay, it is problematic to deliver building materials and traditional insulation. But polyurethane foam is extremely convenient in transportation. The required volume, together with the equipment for spraying, is placed in a conventional gazelle.
The village is located in a secluded and picturesque place, in complete harmony with wildlife. But the height difference on the pass is more than a kilometer. Therefore, even on a gazelle the road was not easy. Two times I had to stop on the ascent to the pass (due to overheating of the engine), once on the descent (due to overheating of the brakes), and the river was completely wade because the bridge was intended only for cars.
The village has weak electricity networks. Therefore, we took the mobile equipment Graco E-10 HP, powered by a conventional 220v network, as well as our small power plant. Worked in combination. The spraying apparatus is from the generator, and the compressor is from the stationary power supply.
It took two days to work. The insulation area was 300 square meters. The floor and interfloor ceilings were insulated with a light (open cell) 20 cm thick layer. A rigid foam (with a closed cell) 10 cm thick was sprayed onto the roof.
Well, PPU spraying is a war against the cold. But in war - as in war, without difficulties it does not happen. But. Despite the obstacles, the cold was given a worthy rebuff. So we will win.
