Really good video, thank you. Most of the vids surrounding smart goods fly through process with loads of music and just subtitles. Thanks to you we got this done in minutes. Liked and subbed.
Thanks. Helpful. Because I just wanted to give access to a family member to one device, but you can't do that, as family member gets access to all your devices, hence you can just share it instead.

Which 2 apps you are referring to? If you are thinking of Tuya and Smartlife, I think not. In order to pair it with a new App, you need to set it to pairing mode and I think that wipe all old setting. I personally have not test it like that before. If you are going to try it, please let me know if you can pair with both Tuya and Smartlife App and can use either to control a device. Good luck

Hi. Just wanted to say thank you. Followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. Only thing I had to do was, I had to restart my wife’s android phone to make the devices appear on her Home Screen. Maybe if I’d been sharing to another iPhone I wouldn’t have needed to do that…
I'll start a new thread. Just to clarify...here's what I'm trying to do... I have two plugs. "Room 1" is connected to one plug, "Room 2" is connected to the other. What I want is to set a scene, that turns off "Room 1", when "Phone 1" leaves the area, and the same thing for "Room 2", when "Phone 2" leaves the area. (Let's keep it simple, and not worry about turning it back on). HAS ANYONE DONE IT SUCCESSFULLY? I was successful to make it work on "phone 1", but can't make it work on "Phone 2". I have set "Phone 2" As an administrator... It gets messy, so I want to understand... From my phone, I enter "Room 2", then go to "top right pencil icon", then I go to "Share device", then "add, and then enter a region, and account to "Phone 2". (are you with me so far?) Now on "Phone 2" I have access to "room 2", but when I try to set a "scene" when location changes, and I'm trying to "control single device", I have nothing listed. So let us try another way... I click on "left top home icon", than "home management". There I click on "my home name" and enter "Add Member" close to the bottom, and I set "Phone 2" name and account number. So now, I'm working on "Phone 2" I accept the invitation via "Me (right bottom icon"--->Preferences and I accept the invite. Now when I'm creating a scene "when location changes"---->"leave"----> apply location. And when I hit then ---->"control single device"---- choose a "room 2".... AND HERE, TWO OPTIONS. "Switch 1"----> (on, off, or reverse switch) and "Overcharge Switch"---> which gets only (on, off) I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS WHAT... And this is the way I've had it set-up, just "switch 1-off". And when I left with both phones... "Phone 1" worked, and "Phone 2" didn't. (I watched the status on them outside) Sorry for this long post, but I had to be sure you understand it well, and maybe offer some ideas.
Hi, you have an interesting situation. 1st of all, when I try to use location on my Smartlife App, it says that this function is still in Beta, which means there may be some bugs in it. My App only allow me to restrict the zone in a 100 m radius. At 100 m, you most likely need to leave the house before the scene triggers. No 2: when you are on Phone 2 you can see Switch 1 and OverCharge Switch, which suggest that the 2 switches are from different manufacturers. But you can access either one. All you need to do is to name properly? if you already name them Switch 1 and Switch 2 and Switch 2 is showing as OverCharge Switch - this I have no explanation. the problem is - when you are trying to set Phone 2 with Switch 2: the confusion seems to be not knowing which switch to turn off - so can you just pull out Switch 1 from the power socket? This way when you are setting up Phone 2, you should only see 1 switch (and it should be Switch 2). Sorry, couldn't be much help. Do keep me inform if you can figure it out. Oh one more thing! can you check if Phone 2 has location turn ON and the App have permission to access location?
@@stevendigitalbutler First thing I checked was if the Location option on. Honestly, I have no Idea what the "Overcharge" option do.
