I’m guilty of years and years of letting the offenses of others fester. It stems from me not being allowed to express my feelings growing up (no excuse) but this has become a bad habit in my adult life. I genuinely think I’m being the “bigger person” by not saying anything or “ignoring negativity” and not letting others interrupt my “peace” It’s allwitchcraft and pride. I need to talk to others even if my voice shakes. I have heaviness, anger and possibly hate for others who have offended me. Thank you for helping me see this Sister Sharon. One of the leaders in that ministry did not like to confront things but swept things under the rug to say. Yes, pride is something the Lord checks me with. So, I can see pride in people. Good message, This is truth, I suffer from this deception for years and actually thought I was being a bigger person walking away or not making matter worse. it was all a lie, hidden sin I didnt realized was the blame. ( myself) thank God he woke me out of that sleep and taught me about being assertive and speaking up . "Dont be afraid of their faces" God is with me. I can speak up without foul language, or disrespect but I learned how to confront. Lol Thanks for being you! Funny, straight forward, and very informative:) When I saw you hold up the "kids" LOL I lost it.. It's 8am and you have me laughing hard.. You are telling the truth sister about people playing head games... I have to admit that there was times I practiced witchcraft unknowingly by giving the silent treatment, foolishly believing it was better than speaking my peace... I realized that it only made my anger fester and burn deeper because there would be a war going on in my head during these wicked practices.. It was a way to put up a wall and not have to express myself, while causing the other person pain, fear, and torment without putting in the physical work. However, it was a lot of mental and emotional work. Now, this practice would obviously only work on people that cared about me speaking and acknowledging them. The silent treatment is a form of rejection and it does cause mental and emotional distress. I remember practicing this on my husband. He would do something I didn't like, or not do something I liked, and I would pull out my torment bag and begin to be silent... In the beginning, it would hurt him so badly; he would come home from work early because he just couldn't bare being away from me for more than a few hours knowing I was so angry with him.. He felt an urgency to hurry and restore my feelings... Eventually, after years of controlling him through sessions of silent treatments, God equipped him to combat it and he would start pretending like nothing was happening! He would kiss me, and go off to work appearing to be HAPPY:/ My God.... This would infuriate me so bad... I would think, "How dare he be happy when I'm punishing him.. I began to realize I was punishing myself trying to punish him. Although he was hurt, he stop displaying it to kill my satisfaction and controlling spirit; and this would hurt me more. I knew if I ignored him long enough, he would eventually break. After all, I had his cookies and he needed those:) Eventually, he grew more immune and it would turn into a waiting game. So I would try to "hurry" the process by even provoking him lustful like a little jazabel because at this point; I was hurting. I would dress up and walk around the house allowing him to see but not touch me. At the end of the day, it wasn't fun not speaking to my best friend who was also my lover. So I wanted him to pay for his crimes quickly and demonstrate his regret so I can get my cookies and talk to him again. (I was age 19 and he was age 21 when we married) This was childish and I was deceive! One day I thought... "God, there's got to be a better way".. There needs to be consequences that don't hurt me, but causes him to continuing to grow as my mate. Then, I heard the spirit of the Lord say; "TALK"... I thought really?? So I began holding my husband hostage TALKING ever since... And he hates it. LOL. He loves talking to me to be clear, and he loves to restore things back to that good place. However, "THE TALK" when he does something I don't like, is never fun because I will EXPRESS MY FEELINGS to the fullest and he ain't leaving the room until I know he gets it... LOL The end of "THE TALK" usually ends with apologies, more commitments, and probably a shopping spree;) LOL Now, he wants them old days back.. When I would shut my mouth in silence while he watch the game... He knows eventually I would get over it and he never had to do nothing because I didn't want to speak or acknowledge him.. Too easy! Nope, we gotta have a nice loooong TALK!! Turn off the TV, we going to lock the doors like they do during church offerings, ain't nothing coming in or going out until we settle this thing.. And he's running away saying SORRY.. LOL I love you sister Sharon You are correct! Witchcraft is satanic and it hurts us.. Ladies, no more silent treatments, talk it out and pray that God gifts your ability to express yourselves!
Spirit of offense is witchcraft. If you spread it, you spread it's lies. I just went through this with someone and God told me to leave the person alone and He would deal with it. I have been dealing with this for a while, and lately god has showed me the devil has been lieing to me. I wanted to change my life because I felt like when i said how i felt it made me a bad person, or perceived as evil. Which once i started getting close to God I didnt want I wanted to represent right. But all this did was cause me pain, because I no longer have a voice. I started holding things in to the point where I became to afraid to express myself. But God has talked to me and said "Is the servent better than the master"? I had someone think that what I said was about them, and when I told her I wasn't talking about her, She refused to believe me. Then she began getting louder in her voice yelling at me and saying a bunch of stuff, and we went back and forth to the point that I got up and left. I was angry for over a week, messed up in the head. I prayed, cried through it all and released it. When I think about the person I don't feel anger, but I can't get close to an insecure, low self-esteem, controlling person.

I am 41 years now but got born again at the age of 16 but went back to my vomit 2 years later due to some of the church doctrines. I always tell new converts to be careful of who they listen to and fellowship with. Then I started going to different churches looking for what was not lost. God in His metcies heard my cry and the Holy spirit started teaching Himself the year 2000. That year I got married and stop attending a particular building and I was taught by Lord to always becareful to who I listen and watch. Sometimes people that offend you, and you go to them time and time again and they refuse to acknowledge the offense but yet they get worse and continue to offend you and will do so every chance they get, you don't try to do evil for evil , but that person won't allow you to address the issue civilly, but incest on doing whatever to hurt you, this person may not be a spouse but a family member and they have behaved that way for years with out attempting to bring resolve, and has decieved every one that you are instead doing these evil things to them and it is obvious that they have a serious problem,then what should you do after you have made so many attempt s that you loose count, they rather deny and act as if their is no problem, and only when they can't get a negative response out of you then they begin to decive other people behind your back and sow discords, they even begin to attack and harrass your children and use manipulation, what actions should you take then? Good message, This is truth, I suffer from this deception for years and actually thought I was being a bigger person walking away or not making matter worse. it was all a lie, hidden sin I didnt realized was the blame. ( myself) thank God he woke me out of that sleep and taught me about being assertive and speaking up . "Dont be afraid of their faces" God is with me. I can speak up without foul language, or disrespect but I learned how to confront. I used to actually. be afraid and a coward to stand up for myself but, that changed and God get the Glory for He has no coward soldiers. Now, I even pray for the bullies and can look them in the eye. (Who ever experience this this is a reminder you're not alone.)

Lol Thanks for being you! Funny, straight forward, and very informative:) When I saw you hold up the "kids" LOL I lost it.. It's 8am and you have me laughing hard.. You are telling the truth sister about people playing head games... I have to admit that there was times I practiced witchcraft unknowingly by giving the silent treatment, foolishly believing it was better than speaking my peace... I realized that it only made my anger fester and burn deeper because there would be a war going on in my head during these wicked practices..
It was a way to put up a wall and not have to express myself, while causing the other person pain, fear, and torment without putting in the physical work. However, it was a lot of mental and emotional work. Now, this practice would obviously only work on people that cared about me speaking and acknowledging them. The silent treatment is a form of rejection and it does cause mental and emotional distress.
I remember practicing this on my husband. He would do something I didn't like, or not do something I liked, and I would pull out my torment bag and begin to be silent... In the beginning, it would hurt him so badly; he would come home from work early because he just couldn't bare being away from me for more than a few hours knowing I was so angry with him.. He felt an urgency to hurry and restore my feelings...
Eventually, after years of controlling him through sessions of silent treatments, God equipped him to combat it and he would start pretending like nothing was happening! He would kiss me, and go off to work appearing to be HAPPY:/
My God.... This would infuriate me so bad... I would think, "How dare he be happy when I'm punishing him.. I began to realize I was punishing myself trying to punish him. Although he was hurt, he stop displaying it to kill my satisfaction and controlling spirit; and this would hurt me more.
I knew if I ignored him long enough, he would eventually break. After all, I had his cookies and he needed those:) Eventually, he grew more immune and it would turn into a waiting game. So I would try to "hurry" the process by even provoking him lustful like a little jazabel because at this point; I was hurting. I would dress up and walk around the house allowing him to see but not touch me. At the end of the day, it wasn't fun not speaking to my best friend who was also my lover. So I wanted him to pay for his crimes quickly and demonstrate his regret so I can get my cookies and talk to him again. (I was age 19 and he was age 21 when we married)
This was childish and I was deceive! One day I thought... "God, there's got to be a better way".. There needs to be consequences that don't hurt me, but causes him to continuing to grow as my mate. Then, I heard the spirit of the Lord say; "TALK"... I thought really?? So I began holding my husband hostage TALKING ever since... And he hates it. LOL.
He loves talking to me to be clear, and he loves to restore things back to that good place. However, "THE TALK" when he does something I don't like, is never fun because I will EXPRESS MY FEELINGS to the fullest and he ain't leaving the room until I know he gets it... LOL
The end of "THE TALK" usually ends with apologies, more commitments, and probably a shopping spree;) LOL
Now, he wants them old days back.. When I would shut my mouth in silence while he watch the game... He knows eventually I would get over it and he never had to do nothing because I didn't want to speak or acknowledge him.. Too easy!
Nope, we gotta have a nice loooong TALK!! Turn off the TV, we going to lock the doors like they do during church offerings, ain't nothing coming in or going out until we settle this thing.. And he's running away saying SORRY.. LOL

Spirit of offense is witchcraft. If you spread it, you spread it's lies. I just went through this with someone and God told me to leave the person alone and He would deal with it. Don't tell others that you offended someone, God will handle that. Thanks, Sister Sharon...always timely teachings. Keep going!

I have been dealing with this for a while, and lately god has showed me the devil has been lieing to me. I wanted to change my life because I felt like when i said how i felt it made me a bad person, or perceived as evil. Which once i started getting close to God I didnt want I wanted to represent right. But all this did was cause me pain, because I no longer have a voice. I started holding things in to the point where I became to afraid to express myself. But God has talked to me and said "Is the servent better than the master"? Which iv pondered on and then later found this video. So I know this was meant for me. Please pray for me im trying to pick up my cross again and start over with God. 😚

So true sister Sharon. my husband use to sin the same sin over and over again (small sin but still a sin). I got a bit fed up and I asked God how long will I have to forgive him. The Lord responded as much as I have forgiven you.
I had someone think that what I said was about them, and when I told her I wasn't talking about her, She refused to believe me. Then she began getting louder in her voice yelling at me and saying a bunch of stuff, and we went back and forth to the point that I got up and left. I was angry for over a week, messed up in the head. I prayed, cried through it all and released it. When I think about the person I don't feel anger, but I can't get close to an insecure, low self-esteem, controlling person.
Forgiveness is different from reconciliation. You can forgive and let the Holy Spirit lead you as to whether to reconcile or not.

I started watching you 3 weeks ago and God have you use you to confirm my belief of not going to a building called church for past 17 years. I am 41 years now but got born again at the age of 16 but went back to my vomit 2 years later due to some of the church doctrines. I always tell new converts to be careful of who they listen to and fellowship with. Then I started going to different churches looking for what was not lost. God in His metcies heard my cry and the Holy spirit started teaching Himself the year 2000. That year I got married and stop attending a particular building and I was taught by Lord to always becareful to who I listen and watch. I had to listen to this message twice Sister Sharon. I have some things I've been holding onto some things I have held against some of my family members. I know my heart has been full of anger. It's very difficult dealing with others who literally enjoy inflicting pain on you and others. It's like a vicious cycle stuck on repeat. Sometimes people that offend you, and you go to them time and time again and they refuse to acknowledge the offense but yet they get worse and continue to offend you and will do so every chance they get, you don't try to do evil for evil , but that person won't allow you to address the issue civilly, but incest on doing whatever to hurt you, this person may not be a spouse but a family member and they have behaved that way for years with out attempting to bring resolve, and has decieved every one that you are instead doing these evil things to them and it is obvious that they have a serious problem,then what should you do after you have made so many attempt s that you loose count, they rather deny and act as if their is no problem, and only when they can't get a negative response out of you then they begin to decive other people behind your back and sow discords, they even begin to attack and harrass your children and use manipulation, what actions should you take then? Some people are just narcissistic, when It is all said and done they just want their way with you and you just want out !!!
