SIDE NOTE: I understand that there is more than one way to do treatments. With that in mind, please refrain from telling me I'm doing the procedure wrong because you do it differently. I would greatly appreciate it. I also say "OK" a lot!! Lol :)
Galvanic facial is a way to pamper, nourish and rejuvenate your skin by passing low-level current through your skin. It is a non-surgical method to improve the quality of your skin. The direct and soft current given to your skin is supposed to act as a tonic for your skin and prompt the skin cells to improve the absorption quality of your skin.
Galvanic facial uses charged ions to refresh the skin. These charged particles are passed after applying a positively charged serum, gel or nutritious to your skin and that helps products to penetrate deep into your skin. This is a hydrating facial that improves blood circulation on the skin to improve skin texture.
There are two types of galvanic facials available. They are as follows:
1. Iontophoresis This galvanic facial is ideal for all the skin types. Its main aim is to improve skin hydration and improve the tendency of the skin to absorb the products at a faster rate. In this process, a positively charged gel is applied all over your face. Then, a negative electrode is placed near your shoulder and a positive current is passed through your skin. This helps to stimulate your skin cells and improve the penetration efficiency of the skin. This means that products are able to penetrate your skin at a deeper level and quickly.
2. Desincrustation This galvanic facial is ideal for oily or acne-prone skin. The aim of this facial is to deep cleanse the skin pores and balance the sebum production in the skin. In this process, a chemical reaction is created to emulsify the sebum and debris that clog your skin pores. It then follows a manual extraction to clean out the pores. This facial is a great way to make your skin soft and supple while cleaning it thoroughly. Your skin feels rejuvenated and revitalized after this treatment.
Benefits Include:
- Eliminate acne scars
- Treat fine lines and wrinkles
- Removal of superficial scars
- Tightens loose skin
- Evens out skin tone
- Increases blood circulation
- Softens debris in the pores for easy extractions (during desincrustation)
Sit back and enjoy :)

Thank you so much, Beth Ann! I’m about to start week 7 of esthetics school tomorrow, we’re only a few weeks away from the final before we will be moving onto clinic! All the devices we started learning last week have been confusing to me but this demo makes me not as worried about it! Appreciate this, and omg your model was gorgeous ❤
She is. She was one of my students. And thank you I'm so happy you like the video. 🙂
So explicit!thank you loads and loads .like it so much
So glad you liked it and found it informative :)
Thank you for sharing. Nice job,
So glad you liked it 😀
Grazie
In my case to achieve whole-body and not just localized wellness. Do I achieve effectiveness by using two hand pieces to hold in my hands? Waiting for info. Thank you very much.
Honestly, I don't know the answer to that question. Perhaps ask a dermatologist. I don't deal with the whole body. Just head, face, neck and decolette. 🙂
@@bethannmaloney1084 Ah ok. I am for DIY and would like to buy myself a small device to keep at home just in case. But every now and then you always need a professional in the field. i will have to try it as soon as i have the instrument under hand. Head, neck and face is fine, while the third item is not since I am a male subject. :) But always useful "if" a 'friend came to my house I could use it for all these treatments. :) Perfect. Thank you.
THANKY YOU FOR THE UPLOAD
You're welcome :)
Why do this??? Incomplete because there is no desincrustation gel...come on!!!
This particular machine doesn't have the ability to do a desincrustation. You can't switch the polarity. But I always let the students know if they don't have a machine that can do that they can always make a thin mask of baking soda and water, apply to the skin and steam for 5 mins. Works great 😃
Can we see machine please
Thank you!:)
You're welcome 😄
❤❤❤❤❤
I would like to know if it can be used on the scalp. Some machines also indicate it for that, others do not. I can't find any video of someone using it for that purpose.
In all honesty I do not know the answer to that question. I'm so sorry.
que using a mask and a face shield !!! i d do not how she did it it must be suffocating
:O: I was. At that time Covid was even more rampant than now. So work made us do this.
How does the galvanic differ from ultrasonic as far as production penetration goes please?
I use more of a wet solution for galvanic. Serum, toner, etc. But for ultrasound you need to use a gel. :)
So I have this machine it was gifted learning what is this particular treatment called?
It's a positive galvanic treatment. Pushed positive, water based products into the skin. 😁
It is also called iontoforesis.

So negative do they hold like opposite to first one
Will this work for hyperhidrosis?
I've never heard of it used for this. But there are treatments for that. Working in dermatology for years, I know there are topicals, orals, botox and laser treatments.
Does the negative tighten skin ?
When it's on negative you're doing a desincrustation. "Melting" the debris inside the pores to make it easier for extractions. You need to use a desincrustation fluid. :)
Positive tightens the skin, decreases circulation, constricts follicles and can push water-based serums into the skin deeper. I prefer to use a a gauze in between the skin and the metal electrode. For me its a safety issue and I keep the skin well hydrated when I perform iontophoresis.
Can you do this on yourself ?
As it turns out, you can :)
@@bethannmaloney1084Would you need to hold the electode on your own hand, like the client is ?
Could you be so kind as to tell me what galvanic machine you are using?.
Because I see that it brings the pole to the ground and many galvanic machines do not bring it, and this causes small discharges of electricity when using the galvanic on the skin.
I would appreciate it if you would please share with me the model of the galvanic machine that you use in this video.
thank you very much.
I'll have to take a look at work. I'm not sure where they go it, but if I can find the name and model number, I'll surely let you know. :)
@@bethannmaloney1084 thank you very much =)
Price?
For the treatment or the machine?
Treatment?
Hey at y
This really makes no sense. What are you spraying onto the skin and is that the product that you are penetrating?
I'm spraying a water based toner to penetrate into the skin. It's on positive to penetrate product.
@@bethannmaloney1084 to push în product ît must be on minus not on plus. Pozitiv gets ouț impurityes!
@@adelinadeeamarin662 no you're incorrect. Push in is on positive. A desincrustation, which liquifies the comedones the machine is on negative with an alkaline (base) solution.
@@bethannmaloney1084 Gal în îs on minus, gal out îs on plus.

How much it cost?
How much does what cost?
Who ever is teaching.. ignores questions from people in the room.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, I answered EVERY question that was asked of me. I just rewatched, just in case. Perhaps you didn't hear me well enough due to the mask and the face shield.
You should pat sun block in, not rub it in.
Not all sun protections work that way. There are some, but not all. In fact, I have 1 that must be pat in and then another that is rubbed in, from the same company :)
