It is called Brennholmen not far from Risør as you can see in the video. Highly reccomended! I believe it might be crowded there during high season. You are welcome and thank you so much for watching.
@@billycosta3203Hey Billy! Sorry for giving "unwanted" advice. First: by 2016 I also was sailing nearly Mike's tour, Single-handed as well (from Germany). I also came to Risør but chose the wonderful Island Finnøya North of the town. It's the private Island of Risør Sailing Club. Since I was very early in the season I had that wonderful Island completely alone for me. Second day of my stay a speedboat with the harbour Master was coming telling me I could stay there free of charge and can use all facilities like Club house, toilets, showers, kitchen, washing machine, BBQ stands,..... What a paradise for me! Go there (Brennholmen or Finnøya) and enjoy your time. Norwegian archipelago is for going down on your knees. Just beautiful. Mike and me have same feeling for this.
@@MikeSantis WOUH Mike! Looking for Kragerø I'm so astonished to see soooooo many piers. During my time there were nice places portside of entrance of Gunnarsholmen and some piers at the water front. Today you have lot more, even to the North! Incredible! I'm sad for you that your tour here in Norway is ending😢😢😢. I had the advantage to go all along the coast to West Sweden and then somewhen later back home.
Hello Mike Great video again I am hooked on a Great Dane 28😂 I am currently sailing on a Hanse 430e But like I told you I want to be solo and looking for a solid smaller boat and after seeing you on your boat I have now found a great day 28 and she’s in good condition just needs some TLC I am reading a lot about this boat But I would like to have some advice from you She’s definitely a boat to cross oceans and deal with stronger winds? Appreciate any information Sorry for long post Fair winds to you Thank you
Good morning Mike Thank you for your quick reply My question about the GD 28 is In your experience sailing and partly living on this size boat Would you say it’s doable for longevity as a live aboard for maximum 2 people? I know you have to adjust to size and life style but overall what’s your opinion? Thank you 🙏
