HEY! THIS is my friend!!
Martin, I am VERY proud of you and this amazing rendition! MAN I wish I could just have been there, along for the ride!
And for the Hunt!
May the Force be with you, Martin, and congratulations on your piano skills!
If I were a bad person, I´d think about pulling a Sylar and find out who I´ll have to kill to get at least a tenth of those skills :)
I saw you play this at Peoria the other day.I have not heard yet who won.You are awesome.Dr.Stephanie owen see you at Sedalia
Awsome
I love your nimble fingers and embellishments! I especially like it when you took a little extra time near the end to slow the tempo and really show off those wonderful little treble notes...I felt the whole piece could have been a tad slower, but BRAVO, you rock!! Please post s'more!!
Wohoo i've been looking for a video of a performance of this for ages!
Spitznagel definately one of the best. He has a grooovy version of Bach up to me.
Wish I could play like this then I would be playing in bars.
thx
this is awesome dude! your improvising is just brilliant! this is one of my favorite tunes and you just made it the best! way to go!
Baltimore Todolo by Eubie Blake!
Holy Cow, that was awesome !!!
I love this song. This video is on my favorites list. I've been waiting for one of the great ragtime guitarists to record it for guitar, but since no one has, I've recorded my own version. Strictly amateur, but so far as I know it's the only Eubie Blake tune for finger-picking guitar. Click on my name and then on Videos.
I think you get the "feel" of the music better than many others, especially many of the players that style themselves "stride" pianists nowadays, yet have little or no left hand, or worse, have a good left hand but spoil it with completely tasteless (and un-stride-like) crap in the right. I'm pleased to say, you embellish and decorate this piece JUST RIGHT. Eubie would be proud.
Help Israel!
Great! The only things you might want to work on are the tempo and the pedaling... but everyone has trouble with that... I have trouble with that... so really, no real gripes.
Some kind of amazing fingerwork young whippersnapper! Luvit! Fantastic!
