Lara wrote this song, shocked by a scandal of a spanish woman beaten to death by her husband or boyfriend, who was previousypoorly protected by the spanish justice and police.

Yes Lara wrote this. She is an amazing songwriter in 4 languages. Most in french but also some in english and italian and as you saw in spanish. She has written lyrics for 80% of her songs and she even wrote for others (eg Your Love for Dimash, Imaginer for Jackie Evancho).
Her father told about her: she is a songwriter that appears to sing. And Lara explained in an interview that she left the classic opera path for pop just because she wanted to create songs.
She often creates the melodic lines as well.

Okay, I obviously live for these Lara reactions but I have to be honest about this one.
This performance is not live, so I don’t know why people keep requesting it. Obviously, lip synching was not her choice. Russian promoters just want artists to lip in general which is why she had to do it. I just think it’s a pity people keep reacting to it because it doesn’t show her greatness as a LIVE performer and vocalist. As you perhaps already know, Lara is extraordinary live. This song is about a husband physically, mentally and verbally abusing his wife until one day she has had enough and quickly takes her kids into the car and leaves as he runs outside to realize she is gone forever to a new happy life. The video of this song is really sad to watch.

Lara went along with the Russian program Igor Krutoy & Co. laid out which demanded that certain songs would not be sung live. "Llora" is one of them. This particular performance has Lara miming/lip-syncing. Sad, I know but unfortunately , true.
Naturally, I wish that she would "stick to her guns" and refuse to take part in these deceptive presentations especially when they are this well orchestrated. It's one thing to do it(mime to a prerecorded track)on some silly T.V. show where it's obvious everyone is pretending but when the stunt is pulled off with this degree of sophistication - to discover that it wasn't real is all the more disheartening.
