racism: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or a people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized; the belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another; belief that certain races of people are by birth and nature superior to others; discrimination or hatred based on the race of a person or of a people (that is, a group of persons). The term “discrimination” is of paramount importance in dealing with the topic of racism. According to the above definitions of “racism”, the term “discrimination” has invariably been used in a negative way in public discourse for the past two centuries or so. This word has its origin in the Latin “discriminatus” (the past participle of “discriminare”), from “discrimin-” (“distinction”), from “discernere” (“to distinguish between”). Although many methods or motives for discriminating are unfair and undesirable (or even immoral), the verb itself has a NEUTRAL history. English speakers borrowed it from the past participle of the Latin verb “discriminare” (meaning “to distinguish or differentiate"), which, itself, is derived from the transitive verb “discernere”. The verb “discernere”, in turn, was formed by combining the prefix “dis-” (meaning “apart”) and “cernere”(“to sift”), and thus, “to filter out or sift apart”. Firstly, there is no doubt whatsoever that certain races are superior to other races in specific aspects (sometimes so VASTLY superior, that only the most rabid leftist would refuse to accept the facts of the matter). For example, some races have a far higher average intelligence than others, some are far taller, stronger and more physically beautiful than others, some are (on average) greatly more dharmic (religious) than others, some are naturally more quiet and gentle in temperament than others, et cetera. I cannot imagine anyone (even a negro) who would, while walking alone at night in a metropolitan area, prefer to walk in the direction of a group of young negro men instead of a group of young Japanese men. If that makes one a racial bigot, then so be it, but personally, that accusation will never persuade me to walk in the direction of the negroes! Therefore, one ought to be extremely discriminatory (in the original and most etymologically-accurate sense of the word) when presuming to make charges of racial bias towards another. To be clear, in the above example, the reason for my choice to avoid the band of negroes is due not to any inherent HATRED towards those originating from sub-Saharan Africa, but simply because, in my vast experience of residing in a multicultural country and by watching news reports, the chances of my physical safety being threatened late at night are far far greater by walking in the direction of the black men, as opposed to the Japanese gentlemen. In the United States of America, for instance, despite comprising about six percent of the total population, Negroid males are disproportionally responsible for about half the violent crimes in that country. So, discrimination can be dharmic (beneficial) or it can be adharmic (sinful) and one ought not fear discriminating on the basis of race. In summary, racial discrimination (again, by the ACTUAL definition of the term), like sexism and speciesism, may be either immoral or it may be moral, depending on the intentions of the actor and the consequences of the act.
If, as a white man, I put on female makeup and dress as a woman I would be praised and called brave. If I darkened my skin and identified as Black I would be called delusional at best if not racist. Transgression of one immutable characteristic is praised but the other condemned. This madness will probably burn itself out eventually but the damage it is doing to children and the rights of women will leave a lasting scar.

Respected British anthropology professor, Dr. Edward Dutton, has demonstrated that “LEFTISM” is due to genetic mutations caused by poor breeding strategies. 🤡 To put it simply, in recent decades, those persons who exhibit leftist traits such as egalitarianism, feminism, gynocentrism, socialism, multiculturalism, transvestism, homosexuality, perverse morality, and laziness, have been reproducing at rates far exceeding the previous norm, leading to an explosion of insane, narcissistic SOCIOPATHS in (mostly) Western societies.

So interesting to see race being labeled as immutable currently, perhaps because it is a topic that hasn't conflated the terms race and racial identity in the same way the word gender has been hijacked to now exclusively refer to gender identity. This could be because of the recent fascination with cultural appropriation that causes hesitation about adopting other cultures as your own and identifying as such. Race and gender is exactly the same you are born in a race due to whatever race your parents DNA and are through many generations, you are also born with your gender as a male or female through your parents DNA . You cannot change your race or gender because it is formed genetically in your DNA. How ever you can identify to a culture if you lived the cultural lifestyle since birth culture is a social construct. But still your race cannot be changed. The mental gymnastics they have to go through to get through the day is astonishing. Some time I really get the feeling that they don´t really believe what their saying, but are too afraid to get "cancelled". Kind of like people behind the Iron Curtain many years ago or people today in North Korea.
There's this weird thing where society is using the same word to mean different things. All my life, gender has been synonymous with sex, the state of being, not the act. Under that definition, no, gender is biological and it doesn't matter how much we cosmetically alter the body, male will still be male, and female will still be female. But, people are increasingly using it to mean, (as far as I've been able to tell), merely how masculine or feminine someone feels, which sure, you can change that I guess? But it's also a useless term then. We've never ordered society based on that. We've ordered it in some areas based on biological sex, for good reason, so to upend all that because a male feels feminine, or a female feels masculine is asinine.
Sex and gender are indeed synonymous, which is why nobody was ever confused why forms ask people one but never the other as well. They just made it up to try and rationalize transgenderism into not being a mental illness. The same logic could be applied to people with multiple personality disorder -- just say 'brain' and 'mind' are different things then argue everyone has one brain biologically but minds aren't physical so you can have multiple minds inside it.
Indeed! Dividing sports competitions by something that is a "social construct" and "depends on your feelings" is the most stupid thing I have ever heard.
What they now call gender is what we used to call personality. The only difference is that we didn't feel it necessary to announce what we thought our personality was whenever we met anyone.
I am black. It is much more plausible to identify as a different race/ethnicity than the opposite sex. Women and men have thousands of differences, approximately 6,500. Women and men are much more different than the small differences between "races/ethnicities." Race is literally skin deep.
Excellent comment. This is entirely my view. I'm also far most concerned with disparities between the genders because men and women conflicts involve the entire population, race conflicts are actually a much smaller issue. I'd rather see the perception of divides be reframed to wealth disparity, at which point many people would realise they have a lot in common with those in their groups irrespective of race. Then people come together and can change things en masse, which of course is why the race conflict is propagated in the first place. I've long felt that the real reason hiphop shifted from social awareness and empowerment to gangsta rap in the late 80s was because so many white kids got into public enemy etc and related with the struggles. It was a real threat to the system.
Not quite, race is rooted in science, it's just more complicated due to its nature. Race isn't a binary category plus the genes are mixing when the new people are conceived, sex on the other hand is binary and remains binary.
Good thing the question is of transGENDERism, and sex is irrelevant to the discussion. Statistics says that after transtioning people still have enormously high suicide rate, it doesn't help. Your statement about being "trapped in the wrong body" is ridiculous. The brain patterns doesn't define your gender and even your feeling of your gender. If you take those men who have some patterns that women usually have - you'll see just a regular men with some feminine traits. In fact what you describe as gender doesn't make any sense. There's no sense of being man or a woman. And if gender is connected to how others view you - why do they fight with people to force them to change their view? There's no universal "ego of a man", you can easily meet non-ambitious men and very ambitious women - and they are still men and women according to their sex. If a girl likes to compete - she's still a girl, not a boy in a girls body. Actually you can change your ethnicity easier than your gender, because ethnicity mostly the color of your skin, Michael Jackson showed us it is possible. Gender is a biological profile involving hormonals, neurotransmissions and their functions and how they are produced by organs. It's certainly much harder than changing the color of your skin.
People are tired of being told they should care. No one is trying to stop people from wearing what they want and calling themselves anything they want.
Of course you can change your race. If you can identify as a fairy with pronouns fairy/fairyself as your gender and think that men who identify as trans women can menstruate then obviously you can identify as any race you want. To consider otherwise is racephobic and bigotry.
"Can you change your gender?" "but of course!" "Can you change your race?" "I've not been told I'm allowed to say yes by the people I delegate my thinking to, so for now no" Also, 12:10 we refuse her as italian, you can keep her as british from now on, thanks
Gender and sex is a lot like race and nationality. I see it as Race and Sex are biological, but gender and nationality are personality aspects that can be changed based on culture. You cannot change your skin color or genitals but you can act differently depending on where you are and what you think you are
Gender and sex are the same thing. People are confusing gender with gender roles. Gender roles can change based on a society. Doesn't mean the gender changes.
I think the key to unlocking this debate is to understand that it is largely semantic. If you define the word gender as being tied to sex then you can't change your gender, if you define gender as being not tied to biology and completely a social construct then you can change your gender. Its not a fight over reality, its a fight over definitions. That said, not all definitions are equal, you can redefine a CD into a bagel, but that doesn't mean it'll taste good or nourish your body if you do.
Gender roles are a social construct, gender is very much genetic and fixed. It’s such a simple concept to grasp how have people become so mixed up about it

You're dead right, I agree. It just goes to show that modern, 'first world' humans are not nearly as rational as they like to think.

So it wouldn’t be unreasonable to say the pool is 100% filled with black ink. As at face value its black. While it’s IMPOSSIBLE for me as a man to change to a female. EVER
And I wasn’t claiming to be white racially or culturally. I was trying to make the point that me claiming to be more white is less far fetched than being able to change sex.
Identifying with a gender is a social construct. But you will never be able to claim to be equal to the opposite gender or sex because the persons original DNA exist in their body.
Well said both of you.

The crazy thing is that race is a social construct, but sex isn't.
Not quite, race is rooted in science, it's just more complicated due to its nature. Race isn't a binary category plus the genes are mixing when the new people are conceived, sex on the other hand is binary and remains binary.

Your statement is actually extremely degrading cause you literally say that those men who don't fit the archetype aren't men and women who don't fit women's archetype aren't women.
And since you mentioned "transGENDERism" - it's not an argument. You changed the term on purpose to spread this nonsense about separate gender and sex, originally it was transSEXualism. Sex and gender always were synonyms. And btw why do trans people perform SEX change operations if gender isn't about biology? And if gender is a spectrum - why are there only 2 ways of transitioning: man to woman and woman to man?

Of course you can change your race. If you can identify as a fairy with pronouns fairy/fairyself as your gender and think that men who identify as trans women can menstruate then obviously you can identify as any race you want.
To consider otherwise is racephobic and bigotry.
Michael Jackson
A lot of young people are so far down the rabbit hole they cannot turn around and come back out🙄
11:05 "...gender and race can't be modified.." "...no..." "fist bump?, thank youuuuu" lol!
As a former 5 year old, I can relate
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Can you change your gender?" "but of course!"
"Can you change your race?" "I've not been told I'm allowed to say yes by the people I delegate my thinking to, so for now no"
Also, 12:10 we refuse her as italian, you can keep her as british from now on, thanks
No thanks, we don't want 'transeurope' people here!
Since when is Italien and British a race ?
On the positive side at least a couple of people showed some common sense. There is hope after all.
And notice they seemed the most normal looking as well
I've been changing my age for years. I've been 21 for many many many years.
Same, lol. I've now been 21 for 21 year's.😂
Gender roles are a social construct, gender is very much genetic and fixed. It’s such a simple concept to grasp how have people become so mixed up about it
