Activity on Multiplication of Decimal Numbers

Multiplication of two decimal numbers using 10×10 grid:
Take a square paper with each side of measurement 10cm. Shade the paper to represent the decimal numbers which you want to multiply. Shade the paper horizontally to represent one of the decimal number and vertically to represent the other decimal number. After representing both the decimal numbers, search for the common part which is shaded using both the colors. Now, write the decimal number for common part.And the common part is your answer.
