Great video, buddy! We also do screenings like that--background check, criminal records, evictions, bankruptcy, name it, we can do it. Actually, we have lots of landlords, property management agencies, and real estate agencies as clients. It's important to screen as many details as possible to prevent any troubles on the part of landlords. You never know what's behind every potential tenant unless you check it yourself.
Thank you for creating this video! It was a very helpful comparison. What resources do you use for income verification and employment verification? Thanks again for creating this video.
I'm quiet new in long term rentals world, but I believe income and employment verification should be done manually/personally by landlord. I heard there is a service that does employment and previous landlord verification for you for extra $20 towards full screening, but they don't take responsibility for truthful information they gonna be told over phone call, they just call numbers on application, so theoretically they can be tricked if there is set up person behind the number. For income verification I heard there is good service where you uploading paystub and it's saying whether it's legit paperwork.
MyRental wont allow landlords to run themselves. Additionally, their support staffer advised me to use the hot link as though it is dead, and to cut and paste, rather than to click on it for the applicant to apply.
Not sure what do you mean by "run themselves" and why would you do it? It's an application for person to get housing, why would you fill it up for them? Like prospect gonna stay over your shoulder and tell you what to put in each box? Plz clarify. Also I think it's obvious, since anyone can be landlord and obtain security info as SSN, we are not verified financial institutions.
No. Can't speak for all platforms, but IMO it's not possible as there is no reports from Employers or IRS or tenants themselves about their income to some universal platform collecting data and it's not mandatory like the fact of having credit or criminal history, so you got to do your own verification.
This saved me from having to research all the platforms-thank you!
Outstanding Job!!!! Thank you for the extensive time and effort to put this together...Probably the most comprehensive comparison I've ever seen.
Thank you, Sir!

Great video thank you
Criminal record = you got caught. Clean record = did not get caught.
MAKES SENSE
Do you use Property Management software? If so, Which do you use?
Not so far, as I do not have enough long term rentals, I'm mostly sitting in Airbnb right now
Hey do you have Russian language posts here or on the other platforms?
No, I'm sorry
Background music is too loud, distracting, and unnecessary.
Hi, how does my rental handle income verification ?
No. Can't speak for all platforms, but IMO it's not possible as there is no reports from Employers or IRS or tenants themselves about their income to some universal platform collecting data and it's not mandatory like the fact of having credit or criminal history, so you got to do your own verification.
MyRental is a woke company....avoid
