Saunas don’t use coal. They use rocks that are heated. Water is poured over the hot rocks and it turns to steam. The rocks are in a metal basket with radient heaters. You’ll see buckets of water with a big ladle in saunas. People spoon the water over the rocks.

blown away by how beautiful this is, love modern builds but I also love more calm zen spaces with lighter tones and just a feeling of calm, and this home looks almost like a quiet oasis among the hustle and bustle of a city, its so beautiful

I love that you talk through your videos unlike putting on music like other builders it really keeps me entertained and attentive to all the small things you do
I’ve only seen the thumbnail but the apartment looks so good
I think a really cool idea would be a house for a yoga instructor with a built in yoga studio. So there are these apartments where the main entrance is on the first floor and the groundfloor is usually the basement. But sometimes there is also an entrance to an apartment but its more like a side entrance next to the stairs and its less expensive. Maybe this could be the yoga studio and the instructor and their maybe family or something lives in the apartment above (I think the style I mean is townhouses or smt??). I played with a yoga instructor and its so much fun! You can place this instructor yoga met and a bunch of normal ones and then I let my sim meet a bunch of kids, put them in a yoga group invited them over every monday and thursday or something an then did the course and it pays really good and is so much fun! :D
Sadly, the game doesn't support it, but the build I'd love to play in would be a dilapidated mansion. I would love it if I could buy almost a shell on a big lot for 40k simoleons, but the windows are broken and there is a hole in some of the roofs. As you play, you slowly unlock being able to edit rooms by fixing the windows and the roof, until eventually the whole house can be modified as required. I don't know if you've seen an old Tom Hanks film, The Money Pit, but I feel like if the Sims team coded it properly, that would be a fun and chaotic way to play for a little bit.
There is a second part to my playthrough idea though - the couple that move in can't conceive children, but because they want to have a family and care for them, they bought a mansion to turn it in to a place where they can foster/adopt many kids and give them a dream upbringing, so over the course of the game, this derelict, largely empty building slowly becomes a dream family home with play areas, and great bedrooms for the kids. It'd be especially good if the game added a way to foster children where you may initially have to do things with them to slowly earn their trust

PLEASE consider going back into your gallery and labelling the apts with their addresses. It's a nightmare trying to figure out which apt might fit into the building I am remodelling and I would like to place down some of your apt designs...
Can you do a tutorial on how you do the colour mod and the tilts? You're the only creator I've seen do stuff like this. You're builds are amazing and so detailed

Amazing Build!! If you didn't know, you can't place pools etc there because there is the balcony from the apartment under that port of this lot, so it would show up, thats why you cant place them. I hope that helps😊

idk if I saw this correctly, but to me it looked like when you move the objects with the tool mod, that they went down to the ground a little bit, with every time you moved them by mouse click... if so, and you don't know, you can turn that off in the settings... open the mod, click options > change settings > and then the first one.. something about objects clipping to the ground or something.. idk it in english, cause I am german and my tool mod has it all in german... hope it helps anyways... oh, and what a beautiful build! you are so talented!

Hi Jessica! you should get the Better Build Buy mod! It organizes and names all of debug, allows you to copy debug objects, and allows you to toggle move objects on and off easily. I think it would help you with these big builds.

Have you ever tried randomising a Sim and building a house for them? Not sure if it's a good idea, but when you talked about the hot springs helping you figure out who lived there I wondered if you had ever tried to start with a previously unknown Sim to make a house for them? Wish I was a good enough builder to try that myself...

Just wondering but have you ever made a home that could fit 20 sims? MCCC and the story option made my sims with originally 4 kids to like 15 with 2 cats and a dog.

its really hard to understand visually what’s happening when your narration is two or three rooms behind, my focus kept going to “she’s almost caught up, we’re almost there, aaand we’ve moved to the next room”. the build looks super good tho
anyway i can download cc and lot i really love it
