I'm glad to see that, it's not a 'real' snowblower, but it actually works better than I thought it would. Good compromise for someone who can't manage a full size unit, or rarely has much snow. Thanks for sharing.
I brought two on clearance at Target for $34 each. When you use it, make sure you don't point it into the wind or the snow will go into your face. Same rule applies when pissing into the wind.
I found a brand new one today at good will It was priced at 29.99 and it was red tag 40% off so i got it for 17.00. I can't wait till it snows. Thanks for the video.
Nice review! I like these because they are great for people with bad backs who can't lift the snow. My dad would shovel his deck and be sore for a week. Now he uses this and doesn't need to bend over and lift up the shovel. He is 6'3 and this fits perfectly. It might be tough for a whole driveway, but they are worth their weight in gold for those spots you can't get with a large snowblower.
I totally disagree, this things are NOT for people with back problems. I have one an have back issues. Tossing around a 13lb weight at the end of a stick is a hell of a lot harder then a normal shovel.
I got one for $5, I was skeptical until I saw some RUclips videos of it. Toro makes great leaf blowers, I have two of them, I can't wait to give this thing a try this winter.
Yeah, keep it close to your feet like he does. Otherwise it'll blast straight up in the air. It'd be nice if it had a gooseneck bend in the handle or some way to adjust the angle, but for under $90 I'm happy with mine.
Thanks for the video. It really was helpful. I have one of these Power Shovels. I have should problems and I thought it would be something I could handle relatively easy and with little effort...Maybe even with one hand? lol Wishful thinking I guess. Thanks again +JR for the easy to follow video guide!
It would move the snow, but probably rocks with it. When I was shoveling my stone drive, I would rake the rocks out of the yard in the spring. Shoveling would deposit rocks at the edge of the drive. This unit would scatter them all over the yard. Possibly, ready to be hit by the lawn mower in the summer. this is probably not a good solution for you. A wheeled 2 stage snowblower with adjustable skids would work better. you could lift the intake up off the ground and get little if any rocks. Probably find an inexpensive unit on craigslist. Even if you had 1 inch of snow on the drive after blowing, that would be better than 6+ or more of freshly fallen stuff. Trust me, once you get some kind of blower you will never be without one again. Buy a cheap one or better yet, borrow one and experiment. You will figure something out. when you do, post it. I would like to see what you come up with. Thanks for watching and good luck!!
Anyone know if this is okay to use on a deck? Just had mine painted over the summer and don't want to wreck it. Edit: Just realized he was using it on his deck, woops.
hockeytruth The deck is raised about 10" above the concrete walk in front of the service door on the garage. The angle of the video hides this fact. Optical illusion. You are very observant. Good question, my friend.
hockeytruth I really do not understand your thought process. Do you think the garage is sunk into the ground 10"? Or, could the deck be elevated? Maybe the rial could be over 4 feet from the side garage door. Possibly there could be a 4 feet sidewalk between the side of the garage and the rail on the deck. If I built the deck and the garage I would have a better understanding of the layout. Hey, wait a minute, I did build the garage and deck. The sidewalk is 4 feet wide. The sidewalk is between the deck and garage. The correct term is " Optical Illusion"
***** "I really do not understand your thought process. Do you think the garage is sunk into the ground 10"? Or, could the deck be elevated?" You have me confused with this question, looking at this I was at a loss for why that rail was there. You have said that the deck is 10" high. So the rail is there for safety I suppose. But this railing looks rather close to the door, and that was the nature of my comment, it looks like the deck was built after the fact and the door became an issue. If you are saying there is a 4 foot walk between the deck and the garage then we are indeed looking at a hell of an optical illusion.

Good score.
I just got one. Thanks for the tip on the downward angle throw!

I agree. I does well. Handy for smaller areas.

Is it hard on the back? Can you just push it like a broom? Thanks in advance.
Nice job, it would be great for my deck.I got to get one. Thanks buddy
I just go to Florida for the winter.. LoL
LOL.... try it, going in the opposite direction, so you dont get it in your face!! LOL... Otherwise, great demo, I am ordering one now!! Thank you!
looks like you can shovel faster than that thing works....plus having to plug it in, clean up afterwards

Glad the video helped you.
How do you think it would work on a limestone driveway? The limestone freezes hard but is not a smooth surface.

i own one and i love it
Thanks. Nice demo..

Most of those have a plastic cutting edge on the front bottom so, I`m sure with a little care it would be fine on painted decks.
Nice.
I'm wondering if the blade did any damage to your deck or is there some sort of clearance guard.
No real guard. But, no damage
Why is there a railing in front of that doorway?
hockeytruth The deck is raised about 10" above the concrete walk in front of the service door on the garage. The angle of the video hides this fact. Optical illusion. You are very observant. Good question, my friend.
Doesn't that make the door useless?

I can't shovel the snow so with a no-show factored in you can with that toy
Too bad it's corded.
The cord is a bit of a hassle, but there is no battery to run dead. It's a trade off.
@@ratoneJR Just keep one batterie charged at all times if you have two batteries.
I can shovel snow factor then you can withthat toy
