Everything in my being tells me to disappoint everyone, drop out of college, move to LA, just me, my wife and our son, and try to pursue music like the ambitious 19 year old wanting to be remembered that I once was. I’m not doing bad, in fact I have a lot of happy moments in my life, but I’d be lying if I said a part of me always feels empty when I don’t get to play music as much as I wish I could. This might not be the exact message of your video, but this was the thought that came instantly into my head after watching.
Take the risk of that what you want brother
If you’ve been feeling this way for quite a bit, why not take the chance? Maybe tell your wife how you’re feeling if you haven’t already. Anywho thanks for sharing, makes me feel less alone wanting to completely alter my life in a similar way. :)
Look around where you are now. If you really try, it's likely you could find some other people who feel how you do and perform music together. Start there. Find a way to play, even if it's out of someone's garage or a tiny bar. Then, you'll figure it out from there once you're creating

Hello you person that I have never met. Your comment made me think of something. I think there are more than one way to pursue your dream. I heard someone say that when you mix your dream and money, suddenly everything can potentially go bad. So instead of just playing / painting / whatever, you have to post and make videos and almost get a degree in marketing and business or pay someone else to, and what time is left to just play? Worst of all, you have to play things that are MARKETABLE. So you tend to compromise on your artform because you literally have to put food on the table. I really took this to heart when I heard it. Now I work 7 hours a day at a job that I like 70% of the time, I DO NOT worry about money, go home to my kids (who are teens now), and then I paint whatever. I. want. And it is really really nice. So unless you want fame too, having artistic freedom and just doing what you want may be the right thing for you too. For me just believing I have the right to spend some time doing what I want is the hurdle. And then actually doing it. Those 7 hours that I work are not the hurdle. Okay hope this makes sense.

I can't tell you how excited I am watching this I've had paint canvas all of it for months as backup for my youngest niece who just turned 14 does her own anime on here so proud I did a small dumb one but just enjoying the crap I make while in a wheelchair after flying 60ft out the passenger windshield while 4 months pregnant with my son who is also in a wheelchair with cerebral palsy but we live to laugh and I love this thank you so much for the sparks hope you get them in return!

Good God, what a great channel. The gems of knowledge you share have been so useful. It's like the dam of creativity has opened up and torrents of ideas and motivation are pouring into my mind. The dam was blocked by fear. I'd start things that would be good but I was afraid I'd fuck something up so I have a living room full of half done peices, I'd overthink every move and get stuck. The ole egoic, thinking, analyzing left brain hemisphere mind was fucking my shit up, but now its like my feeling, creative, intuitive, nurturing right hemisphere has become much more activated or something. It goes way beyond just my artwork. It seems to be serving my highest ambition in this lifetime which is the pursuit of christ consciousness or enlightenment.
