and I have a massive thought in my head right now it would be even better if the main theme is take me to church by hozier lol probably it's stupid, probably it's ill-considered but it could have been awesome
I watched this movie on in-flight entertainment, purely by chance and boy did i get my money back. What a captivating storyline with a roller coaster ride of sweet, sour and feel good emotional scenes throughout the movie. Acting masterclass from Frances, Sam and evergreen Woody. This movie brought the similar emotions (for me at least) to the ones i had after watching the likes of Shawshank Redemption and Green Mile. I don't give a damn about Oscar, this movie is beyond that.
I watched it in-flight as well. Got to the letter scene and was almost crying my eyes out. Stopped it and rewatched it properly later. Such a great film.
yep, it's got a better score and a better movie too. Should've won best picture and definitely best screenplay. Robbed. The story in 3 billboards was much more complex, better major plot beats, nuanced, and with a massive character arc with the sam rockwell character.
Theres definitely sadder films that are more bleak. This was actually quite funny tbh. Wind river has similar themes for one, but as for sadder films, look no further than Marley and me
I sat this movie several times. Its one of the most brilliant storytellings I have ever seen. And I saw allot of movies. Every Oscar was deserved for 100%. Sam Rockwell was sooooo amazing too. The Score and the Soundtrack were also great. I hear it, and I am inside.
Dozens upon dozens of American films that are not action films are released every year. If you want them but don't see them, that's on you. Also, you are not obligated to watch films which star a specific actor you dislike.
I just play this movie randomly and the moment I heard this track at the very beginning of the movie I was totally in till the very end. Such a masterpiece.
Watched Ebbing yesterday , one film which manages to match the hype. And this piece of music struck me immediately. Great film , great soundtrack and as to the performances ,truly outstanding all round, from the main leads and right down to the minor characters ; a rich tapestry of small town folk and although everyone is raving about McDormand ,Woody Harrelson ( who I have never warmed to in the past), won me round with his terrific performance ( and the startling performance of Sam Rockwell). In someway I felt Woodys character held the whole film together ,rather than McDormands.
pardeep parkash have you watched true detective? Woodys got chops. Rockwell has the Oscar hands down. That hospital scene is still with me and I saw it six weeks ago.
I watched it today for the third time what a masterpiece “” the soundtrack from time to time I don’t why I just relate to it more and more am In love with this
at first it's the music that made me want to watch the movie, then I realized the movie itself is a masterpiece, and now that I've seen the movie, the music has even more depth. Anyway, everything about this movie is a masterpiece
This film and this music is made from the heart, this little masterpiece of true art can be listened to and somehow it seem to be able to understand any kind of tragedy you've had to suffer. I don't know how, but that's the general effect it's had on me. It's soothing to listen to, remembering the scenes in the film. My favorite part was how the sheriff put a bag over his head, before he shot himself, because he knew it would be an awful mess and put a note on his face explaining this, after spending the last day in a nice way, and also took the time to write to whoever that might be touched by his death in any way.
I saw the movie by chance and loved it. I watched it 3 more times and didn't get tired of it. The only part I could do without was when the the ex cop was getting the crap beat out him in the bar. But even that wasn't tedious, just a little painful. Nice flow, good acting and great music.
Here we ho again, McDormand won another Oscar for Nomadland. . . . PS: Didn't watch the ceremony, so just looked it up, & saw Francis won again, & wasn't even surprised! Aging like Touissant wine!
no way, people will forget it in around 10 years time, only remember it as a good film -way too much hype for a totally implausible plot-its a good film with excellent all round performances.
So, you haven't seen THE MISSION or ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST or THE IMITATION GAME or THE SHAPE OF WATER.... They are just as great as this soundtrack wise... but this is very lovely also.
The Green Mile, Moon, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Conviction, The Way, Way Back. Outstanding supporting actor. Watch the movies i wroke before, by far the best of his work.
Top 5 of best movies ever made. In the right mood top 1 - so many facets of humanity presented and represented. A go to movie to show anyone how absolutely brilliant and magnificent movies can be at exploring humanity. For epic scale of movies; LOTR all the way with a side order of Cameron.
a genius are you sure ?Individual brilliant scenes do not make a brilliant film. For m ethe film fell apart half way through, the ending was atrocious, however the performances were tremendous ;they saved the film.
Only this soundtrack and the one from the dressmaker makes me feel that i cannot expect anything life will not be fair so all i gotta do is break the chains , and never try to hide again , never again .
_How come you came up here out of nowhere lookin' so pretty? You ain't tryn'ta make me believe in reincarnation or somethin' are ya? 'Cause you're pretty but you ain't her... She got killed. Then you would be dead forever! I just translated this to my Indian wife. thanks for taking out the time to put those lines up there. it is very much appreciated and i almost cried when I translated that to my wife.
Watching it on HBO Now for the first time. So far it’s pretty good. She just saw a deer after visiting the police station. One thing I will say is the humor is so on point. Serious situation happening in the town and they’re still fucking w each other. Humor definitely hits.
guitar my favorite great soundtrack from greatest film love it and very touched makes me cry before oscars i said that “ this masterpiece definitely take the oscar couze deserve it “ sam woody and frances was amazing such a great movie
Films like this one are the reason behind my deep love for cinema
She deserved her Oscar.
???? She got it...Best Actress.
She got it...Again!!!!
@@achu5954 and it got stolen 😂
But she took it with humor (the police not)
So did the film
The movie is brilliant but this music piece itself is a masterpiece.
and I have a massive thought in my head right now
it would be even better if the main theme is take me to church by hozier lol
probably it's stupid, probably it's ill-considered but it could have been awesome
this movie is a masterpiece
no it isnt , it s just a good film - the performance saved it.Highly implausible storyline.
@@pardeepparkash398 disagree. there a few movies with more complex charackters. all are human. none seems scripted
It is!
@@pardeepparkash398 You're wrong. Extremly wrong. 😂
@@pardeepparkash398 It's Martin McDonagh film. It's going to be a little absurd.

Guys, it's official.
Nobody cares about dentists.
Are you a dentist?
'Dentiss'
Made my day!
One of the best films of the last 20 years... Great!
absolutely true I was sooooo surpriced how good was that movie
Am I the only one who likes this score better than the main theme from The Shape of Water? How come he did not get the Oscar?
jrt2007gjdje Phantom Thread and BR2049 had better tracks.
A Ghost Story, Good Time, and Jane weren't even nominated. Compared to those three, I barely remember anything from this.
yep, it's got a better score and a better movie too. Should've won best picture and definitely best screenplay. Robbed. The story in 3 billboards was much more complex, better major plot beats, nuanced, and with a massive character arc with the sam rockwell character.
I heard the score at Golden Globes for the first time and this was the reason why I watched the movie.
The three billboards score contains at most 4 short tracks, shape of waters is a list of about 15 different tracks
Carter Burwell deserves an Oscar soon, he has already written many excellent scores....
Mildred Goes to War is one amazing track
And one amazing name ; Mildred...
boy, you are gonna love "Billboards On Fire" then...
Magician
That music reminds me a tvseries. But i cant find, damn
This is definitely the *saddest* movie I've ever seen in my life.
My rating of the film as a whole is *10/10* .
Masterpiece!!!
Greetings from Poland.
Yeah! Martin McDonagh's movie is one of my favorite. Have you ever seen In Bruges?
If you like sad movies....try Manchester BY The Sea....great in its own right....
@@jedswenson5667 the green mile, the last samurai ?

I wasn’t sad . If yuh want really sad ; Manchester by the Sea. That just got me by the throat like no other (recent ) movie . Heart rending .
Such an original score with nuances and variations. Absolutely brilliant!!
After 1:45 it's magic.

Finally a good film! Please, no more films with boring Heros or with Dwayne Johnson "The Rock"!!!!

Or , Nicolas Cage .

This is one heck of a soundtrack.
Amazing movie, one of the best I've ever seen, and a deeply touching soundtrack...
This gives me The Last Of Us Vibes. What's funny is that the tune played at 0:14 reminds me a little of the observatory scene from La La Land.
absolutely in love with this soundtrack!!!
I just play this movie randomly and the moment I heard this track at the very beginning of the movie I was totally in till the very end. Such a masterpiece.
Film à la fois extrêmement drôle, sombre, dramatique, violent mais tellement humain... Juste incroyable.

Seven Psychopats. The whole cast is amazing..and Martin McDonagh is an outstanding writer and director.
