I have both photovoltaic systems and a generator in my camper, two 600w panels and a 2000w generator. The system with the panels costs practically the same as a good generator, it doesn't make noise or stink and has maintenance costs close to 0, I recommend you put both or, if you think you'll buy a lithium battery, just the photovoltaic panels should be enough for you, since you would often recharge with the truck engine. Lithium batteries aren't cheap but from what I've seen lately you can find 24v 100ah ones for $500
Eco flow Delta 2 max and delta 2 wave and also solar panels. They all synchronize together accessible on a smart phone through blue tooth. Also you can hook up an eco flow dual fuel generator. You can control how it works and energy flows on your phone.
@jeremyperkins1437 the amount money to waste on it is not worth it you can get for 600 bucks a 4000 watt gas generator and call it a day. but am bulding right now a cheap disel alternator generator so subscribe but pretty much for 300 dollars am gana build a disel diy generator
dont do it yet am gana make a video soon on DIY disel alternator generator dont use the gas generators they not ment to go for long time i got a 200cc disel motor gana pair ot whit 150amp self exciting Alternator its gana be EPiC set up subscribe so you can see it
You could also get a diesel generator not a Apu but an actual diesel generator. That is how I have my truck setup I have a 7500 Watt that runs about half a gallon an hour at full output which I never get to
I have a 10K watt generator, its loud and overkill, im thinking of getting a 5k watt inverter generator, mini split, i have solar panels, to charge lithium ion battery, but i had to buy a charger to connect to inverter in winter when there is no sun.
nice am about to buy a 200 cc disel engine and use old 5000watt generator head and run it like that i wanna connec the disel generetor to trucks fule line so it all runs on disel. i mean you could get away even whit 2500 watt portable gas generator but again its gas and that is why inwanna convert my 5000 watt gas gen to a disel am gana make a video soon on it
bla bla bla solar panels is only useful for maintaining your battery only. I went on away two months for vacation every years and start the truck up like a champ. If you intent using for running heavy loads like AC you can dream on. Get a Honda EU3000is and build a box in the back of your truck and a portable Home Depot 8k btu will work great. 😆😆😆
Your on the right track 👍. This tech gets better and cheaper, even with the covid inflation...

I have a generator and a indoor AC. It works great and the whole thing was less than $1,000. I've been running it for two summers with no problems
nice nice am gana do a build soon whit something similar but different

Dc to dc charger to charge them when driving and the solar panels will extend the battery usage.

I have the same sistem in my truck generator and mini split and rv 50amp battery charger
nice nice am gana do a video soon on the install and set up. how you liking the mini split ?
Any update on a solution? I have an EPU but when a 34 hour reset. I have to start the truck up. Thinking of adding some type of generator.

With my diesel generator I have a 15000 BTU RV roof AC a 7 cubic ft mini fridge and freezer along with a 1500 watt glass 2-Burner stove top
that nice send a link to your generator
what diesel generator do you have?
Hi my friend couldn’t find any body to install Mitsubishi mini split 110 volt in my truck
@yo-uu2oe you have to i install it your self and have a AC guy charge it up

@@YuriyDtv I currently have a 16 gallon gas fuel tank, so I will use it on the inverter generator, fuel up once a week, or once every 2 weeks
