I believe Thor: Ragnarok was as comedy-based as it was because Marvel knows the next two movies won't be as much. Let's not forget, BEFORE Infinity War the first Black Panther movie is coming out and its protagonist is way too serious to make the movie too comedic. And Infinity War will probably the most serious MCU movie up until now. So they chose to give a last bit of fun with Guardians of The Galaxy vol II and Thor Ragnarok before they go to some very dark places.

Bunny Girl, I agree with you. What makes this trailer epic is the serious and dreadful nature of the threat that Thanos poses for the universe. It's what made the Infinity War Comics epic, because alot of popular heroes were slaughtered by Thanos. No worries, the Russo Brothers know what they are doing. LMAO, I can see the Bruce Willis resemblance too. That scene with the Avengers, Black Panther and the warriors of Wakanda reminded me of the battles in The Lord of the Rings. Great reaction from a gorgeous woman.
Yeah I think Avengers Infinity War will be less lighthearted than previous movies. there will still be moments of levity but overall i think it will be a lot more serious.
Infinity War is directed by directors of Winter Soldier and Civil War... It will be very serious with some little jokes from Spidey, Ant-Man or Star Lord...
